Well having both Flute Street and Empyrian Redolence does unlock the Legendary Neathymon. Plus Empyrian Redolence has some cool storyline.

You can get back to the University in style after a Darwin-esque exploration of the Unterzee. Granted, the academics won't throw a fanfare at you coming back (have you ever seen a nerd happy to admit they were wrong?), but I considered a huge victory anyway. Grudgingly or not, they HAD to aknowledge that my place was there. HA.
Also, a really academic character wouldn't refuse a chance to do a Voyage of Scientifc Discovery just because they don't have the courage to say the truth in a case. Hell, I would take being expelled for being right over being wrong for the sake of appearances any day. I do recomend being kicked of the university, and I'm the one roleplaying as an old professor since day one. It pays on the long run.
Thank you! Like absimiliard I have also refused to be thrown out of court, and of course I could not botch an investigation either, so I have left the university storyline hanging. I will go back and eventually, one hopes, unlock Flute Street. What is it about Court of Cats that people do not like if I may ask?

Additional note: Even if you want to boink the Provost, you still don't need to side with him. He'd still boink you at the Feast. If you are just into his looks you can even boink a Snuffer that looks like him instead!
Court of Cats are just.... eh. It was kinda overshadowed by Marsh-House (since it is the first one and they made an effort to impress) and Lost in Reflection (Parabolan bombshell sideplot). The structure is kind of weird and is a bit too coy about cats and snakes.

So Marsh-House is as good as Lost in Reflections?

I rank Lost in Reflections as the best of the Exceptional Stories to date, and the Marsh House as the last of the list of "good" ones.
Here's my own, subjective, ranking:
Excellent: Lost in Reflections Cut with Moonlight The Frequently Deceased The Waltz that Moved the World / Flint (I can't decide which of these is better for me)
Good: The Pentecost Predicament The Art of Murder Discernment The Haunting at the Marsh House
Meh: The Last Dog Society The Seven-Day Reign The Court of Cats
YMMV, of course.

That seems a pretty fair list, actually . . .
Although, I may have ranked "Pentecost Predicament" as 'excellent', and "Waltz That Moved" as 'Good'.

For some reason the Waltz didn't move me, so to speak. I forgot Marsh House though, I liked that one a lot, and if you like 'stuffs' it's the easiest non-holiday remote address you can get -- I think.
I might need to look at Frequently Deceased given Dov's rating of it, or at least unlock it while I still have fate in hand this month. edited by absimiliard on 5/29/2016

Significant Lore Bombshell: The Waltz that Moved the World - Lore on Vienna, Woods in Winter, Thief of Face, Sunless Sea tie-in (Vienna)
Discernment - Bombshell about Devils and Souls, Potential premature ending, players confused about a soul called Salami (or something like that), Fate-locked Story tie-in (Soul Trade)*, actual effect based on your involvement with the Soul Trade
Flint (Part 1) - Chit-chat with the Bishop of St.Fiarce, Mostly hype, Preparing seriously for the Elder Continent
Flint (Part 2) - Elder Continent sightseeing, Zootopia tour (making your prior preparation a joke), Marsh-style Flash Lay, Potential companion loss (not permanent), Potential Dangerous overcapping, Permanent access to Apis Meet, Chit-chat even more with the Bishop
Run around London: The Frequently Deceased - Optional choice allows you to torment the Starveling Cat successfully, story about the Serving Class of London; many small nods to your other stories and items, well-received
The Art of Murder - Gigantic murder-fest, info about Thief-of-Face, best to play with Flint
The Court of Cats - Coy lore about cats and Parabola, not much info about the Duchess
Explore a place, adventure game style: The Haunting at the Marsh House - One-shot self-contained misadventures, minimal lore, rare quirk checks, unique remote address available (functionally equal to others)
The Pentecost Predicament - Does the "explore the house" structure better than Marsh House, Sunless Sea follow-up (Empire of Hands)
Affects regular gameplay: Cut with Moonlight - Odd info about Mirrorcatch Boxes, add varied options to faction depending on your choice, Sunless Sea tie-in (Mirrorcatch Box, the Blind Bruiser)
Five Minutes to Midday - Temporarily affects factions cards, Fate-locked Story tie-in (Theological Husbandry / Diocesan Intrigue)
Promises of future consequences: Lost in Reflections - Bombshell about Paris, Mandatory stats loss, Potential premature ending, Side-plot structure similar to Diocesan Intrigue, One choice provide lasting consequence, well-received
The Last Dog Society - One choice provide lasting consequence, mandatory quirk loss, Sunless Sea tie-in (Dawn Machine)
Nonsensical: The Seven-Day Reign - Nonsensical mechanics towards the end, (pointless) potential permanent loss (mauve shirt available at start to make it extra pointless), player backlash against cannibalism, minimal effect depending on Membership with Stags, Minimal Sunless Sea reference (Kingeater's Castle)
--- Tie-in = Recommended you play the relevant content; the stories themselves will explain the background to you, but they are biased in-character and can't make up for first-hand experience.
Follow-up = Highly recommended you play the relevant content - the ES is practically a sequel to whatever content mentioned. edited by Estelle Knoht on 5/29/2016

I think either you're having some formatting issues or my browser's horked Dov. I can't manage to pull a link from your post.

If it's browser horking, then it's mass browser horking, as I only see the longest string of symbols in my life, with the smallest possibility of a sentence being hidden within.

It sometimes happens, but I've not worked out the pattern yet.

Yes, it's fine now. Just didn't check whether it got fixed before posting.

It's the way the post is displayed in the split second while it's being submitted. I think if you doubleclick submit it has a chance of posting that instead of what you wanted to post.
