That may be too much information for fate-content?
In terms of rewards, though, I would say it's one of the better endings. I'm not sure what the rest do, but I've heard complaints about them being 'useless' or not providing as much as they otherwise could, so - assuming hearsay is correct - you have the opportunity card and ending that provides the most in terms of rewards.

Since the Rubbery Hound is Fate Locked, I'll ask this here. Is there any downside to siding with the Devils and betraying the Bishop when breeding monsters in the Labyrinth of Tigers (Toadstool and Stick)?

I was just tempted to try the tiger option in "A dream about a stable" and it was pretty underwhelming. 3 fate may not be much, but there's no way I'll choose a fate option completely in the blind again.

All I can say without yet another spoiler tab is that type of Fate purchase is the one that gives you a higher boost of reward compared to the regular offerings rather than extra story content. If anybody wants to make a list of such examples, they may, but since I'm trying to think of others, I of course am blanking out. (Or my main character Irrigoed me again, of which I will then discuss the "delete button" concept with him .)

Nothing special, and not terribly better than the success in the regular option, but one needs to take into account the fact that it's a certain gain. The wine option fails often and loses you progress when it does, and it was partly my exasperation with that—and partly my curiosity—that made me try the option in the end. I do not intend to repeat the experience (or waste my wine on that ungrateful weed again), but it helped at the time and I did owe F.F. a favour, so...

So what are the unlock requirements for the "what profit?" card? Do I need my soul for it? Is it just to sell your soul or does it have other options? Also I bought the soul trade at end game, what kind of stuff do we learn from its early game option, can someone PM me? A question about fate expeditions; do they have a seperate poll of treasures or can they give the regular expedition results?

The card is specifically for selling you soul, so you do need that and Connected: Hell 5. Unfortunately I forget what the early game Spirifer's Fork options say specifically; hopefully someone can PM you some echoes.
I think they share the same pool, but they go up to higher values and won't go below a certain value of treasures. Pretty sure there's some overlap, though I'm not sure what the minimum value is.

Then I should spend a day opening all of my boxes so I may find my soul to sell again. Someone was gathering data on fate-locked expeditions. Maybe they will tell us how much of overlap there is. I would be a little upset to get a regular result from a fate locked expedition. Are there any rewards other than the higher treasure value. I read they have some fun lore but I want to know about rewards. Another question, are all of the BDR home comforts from the robe? I have recently recieved a box of hundered wonders from a really generous soul(or soulless like me) and trying to decide what to do.

The Temple of Uttermost Wind expedition rewards items from the higher end of the normal reward range and part of the special fate expedition range. The Gallery of Serpents rewards almost entirely within the fate reward range, only overlapping with the highest regular option of Airag and Parabola-Linen. The Gallery is definitely the most profitable expedition, coming out to around 5 EPA and with a max reward value of 625 E.
The only BDR home comforts not from the Incarnadine Fur Robe are the three paintings from the Sunless Sea backer story and the Midnighter profession item.

I am not a sunless sea backer and happy as correspondant so no chance of getting BDR home comfort for now. After I get the stories I want, if there is leftover fate, I will check the Galery, maybe a few times.

I'm still at the stage where I am more interested in story than in acquiring items, and indeed, if I ever end up caring a lot about collecting trinkets, that won't be for some time yet. In this sense, my first (and so far only) foray to the Temple of Uttermost Wind was something of a disappointment. In my attempt to stave off the rivals (and save actions), I did the whole thing in double steps, something I am now 100% successful at (unlike triple steps, which for this reason I avoid). This meant, however, that the option to speak to the priest appeared only twice, and the first time (not realising that the priest option would appear only occasionally) I opted to do something else that was also available. That way I missed almost all the content that is peculiar to that expedition, little though it may be. I know I can find it in Journals, but for someone who did the expedition more for the story than for the rewards (and not intending to repeat it many times, owing to its cost), it was annoying.

Hello, /me waves their hand
It's me with the fate expedition data! Uttermost Wind seems to be the entire range or 40~240.
Gallery of Serpents: 1% What is this (125E) 24%A carefully wrapped container (125E) 25% Lovers? (126E, or close, I forget how much jade) 25% Fallen Idols (625E) 25% A terrible end? (312.5E)
Regarding how best to spend your fate on an expedition? That's easy. Get 100 supplies, go through it 1 progress at a time, let your progress go above the goal, let your Rival's Progress hit 10, read unique (for Serpents) Rival content, read all priest/gentleman content.
If you go through the Fate expeditions for text, then take your time! Prepare yourself, savour the content. Different recommendations apply if you're doing it for the treasures.
Also What Profit?:
City Vices: What Profit? (Unusual Frequency) Involved in the Soul Trade 5 Connected: Hell 5 0 x Your very own Infernal Contract 0 x Remote Address
I found that a certain insect and piece of meat interact to create an insect that is 1/7th the color of a rainbow. Any other Feast items interact with each other in interesting ways?

Can I ask does anyone have any experience of the fate locked options under A Masked Revel?
Please PM if they are sensitive, but I guessed that a more general 'Worth it or not?' might be quite a good question to ask right now?
Thank-you
Update: Thank-you to those who sent me messages I've got reports for all three now. edited by Charlotte_de_Witte on 2/13/2016

I am curious about those masked revel options. I'll probably try the dance option but I was waiting untill I made a certain acquintance which I didn' realised I have to do it in the feast time last year. Next time I get the card I will try it. I don't think there would be much of material reward but I am expecting something fun to happen. Also I hope they are social actions. Edit: I've done the dance option, it was a social action as I hoped for. I will PM suinicide and Charlotte after it has been accepted. Also @Charlotte Rewards seem to worth it for this kind of fate use, if it is not caped, I don't know if it is capped or not.
Edit2: PM sent to Charlotte and in game message to suinicide. edited by suhe gul on 2/12/2016

I have enough fate for 1 Exceptional story. I like the Navy and the Duchess, so I am debating between Last Dog Society and Court of Cats. Which story has better lore, and which story has better rewards? Please don't spoil anything.

Personally I found those two stories slightly weaker than the rest, with Last Dog Society being a little better. I think you won't regret trying Lost in Reflections, since no exceptional friend in existence ever did.
