EDIT: Exactly how do the Parabolan Kitten work? Do you lose it if you play the option to send it to another player? On the wiki it doesn't mention the sender losing the cub O_o

I haven't gotten a kitten yet, but I'm guessing the kitten stays in your inventory until the other person accepts. That lets you cancel the offer without losing the kitten entirely.

Update on my situation: I was busy with a prolonged sojourn on the zee, so I wasn't contactable at my London addresses. I have now returned, and express my continuing interest in providing a home for a panther kitten.

Nope, the kitty is gone with the offer... presumably it's back on withdrawing it, not tested yet.

Oh, was I too ambiguous? I was asking for someone to send a kitten to me (which "somebody" did). I was not offering a kitten of mine for adoption.

Oh dear. If it's anything like First City Coins then it'll vanish into the void if the offer is canceled or withdrawn. It's why the Private Suppers got an update; Failbetter didn't want people to lose their Free Evenings if they sent it to an inactive user.
