Shipwrecked when starting a new game

so I deleted my previos installation of Sunless Sea, made sure no folders or files remained in Program Files or the AppData, ownloaded the latest version (1.4.1274), made sure I was up to date with online content, and started a new game. I now get the "Shipwrecked" message as soon as the game loads up, and it forces me to choose a legacy. Even after choosing one, the subsequent game also starts with the ship being shipwrecked before I've even picked if my past is known or wreathed in shadows. Anyone else encountered this bug?

This is a bug we found and fixed yesterday, and you've done the things that should have resolved it post patch. Could you submit a bug report so we can dig into the details with you? ta!
