They're now available to sell in the Bazaar; that's all I know. The Owl sells for 200, which isn't too worth it from what I recall of the effort.

By the way, about the Nightmares requirement for the Hyena. Perhaps one can use the Sporing Bonnet (6 Echoes) to safely add the Nightmares needed to view and catch the thing?

Fortunately the Hound of Heaven is not fate-locked so I can say that I got 3 Cellars of wine, 8 Broken Giant and connected church when I handed mine to the Bishop yesterday. I think it was just 1 cellar and connected before the change.

Incidentally, the math on this is not bad. Starting from the 4th coil, it takes 5 actions to return with a Hyaena from the second coil; then 7 actions to raise one quality to 6 and a final action to breed: 13 actions for 20 Echoes is 153.8 PPA. Adding 7 more actions to raise 2 qualities appears to gain an additional 11 echoes (net result 31 echoes in 20 actions, 155 PPA) but 7 more for the final quality only gets you to 40 echoes in 27 actions (148 PPA) for the hyaena. [From the data thus far it may be 45 echoes for other starting creatures, but their action cost to acquire is much greater.]
Edit: Did not include cost of acquisition: 1.1 echoes in honey and Clues. So the return goes down a bit; this is why I don't bother trying to minmax FL  .

Hyaena with devils only: 1050 Primordial Shrieks, which I think is 21 echoes rather than 20 - it's noted as being an 'especially generous' reward from the Bishop. Also an exploding bird.
Why, yes, I have been doing a spot of breeding this past day; can you tell?

I've bred three Somnolent Hyenas so far
Just Keep the Devils away gave 8 Extraordinary Implications
Breeding through discipline gave 1050 Primordial Shrieks
Just the Toadstools gave 42 Strangling Willow and 2 Carnival tickets.
I need to go and get more Hyenas to see what the other options give
