So I just bagged a fluffy er... spiky Plated Seal. My first foray at the zee was a bit unlucky since Pyro earned a lot of Menaces and Heartless Points as well. I plan to get two more, one for the Fate option and the other for heck of having a psychotic seal in the bathroom.
Anyways, are there any tips for hunting them aside from raising lots of Troubled Waters then steaming away as fast as the clipper can take you to London after getting one? The area is ridiculously luck based.

if you get progress and troubled waters to about 6 at the same time (takes a bit of balancing with cards and steaming prudently) you can spam steam prudently and you will have the required troubled waters and be 1 away from the required approaching journeys end. Its the safest way I've found to avoid being in troubled waters 11 too long.

Ah it's a balance thing then. Well if I can set those values in those levels then I might be able to get two seals in one go.

You can only have one seal at a time - and you need 5 in total if you are going for a Neathy Pokemon of the fate-locked pets.

To get the Bifurcated Owl you need all five of the creatures you have bred (1 x Hound of Heaven , 1 x Corresponding Ocelot, 1 x Ocular Toadbeast, 1 x Obdurate Stallion, 1 x Slavering Dream-Hound, and 500 x A Page of Cryptopaleontological Notes.)
For the full Neathy Pokemon you need the four starting creatures, the Bifurcated Owl and the five you can breed. As it takes a Plated Seal to get two of the creatures, Hound of Heaven and one of the fate locked ones, you need to get 5 Plated seals and 3 each of the others - Tomb lion, Somnolent Hyena and Rubbery Hound.
