This week, in addition to my professional rewards, Time the Healer brought something a little different: My Irrigo did not clear as normal. Instead, I had something akin to a package awaiting me. When I opened it, (paraphrased) "A few traces of my old self rose like water..." and I gained back some of the stats I lost in my weekly trip to the Nadir. My Irrigo also cleared. Did this happen for anyone else, or is it tied to the fact that I have my own name as a tattoo?
I love the Neath - you never know what will happen next.

Fixed, although with a little more work than expected, it seems. They sent me an access code, which didn't work to change my FR quality, so it had to be set manually.
Since I don't want to open a whole new ticket to say 'thank you' to Adam Myers, I will say it here: thank you, Adam Myers! You're welcome! Something very strange happened with Fleeting Recollections, with the result that several dozen characters have actually acquired a negative value for this quality. That shouldn't be possible, and has some very curious consequences.
I've tweaked the access code accordingly; it should now solve the problem for absolutely anyone affected, negative qualities or no. But if you used it already and it didn't work, send in another email and I'll apply the fix manually.

I also just received my visit from Time the Healer with no Fleeting Recollections either. I too will be submitting a bug report and hope that the "may" is not going to be an indicator of randomness to this. I don't want to be more at the whims of the RNG than I already am, particularly in regards to payments or losing my irrigo.

TtH visited today for both my characters, and I didn't get Fleeting Recollections on either. The blog post said TtH now 'gives Fleeting Recollections', not 'may give', so I'm hoping it's just a bug, and I've reported it as such. Making irrigo reduction random would just be cruel.

I'm fairly certain that "Fleeting Recollections remains unchanged, at 0" means that there's a rich effect being used which is outputting a zero- that could be the result of a random number, but it doesn't have to be a random number. Out of about eight or nine people who got TtH today, I haven't heard one incidence of Fleeting Recollections being awarded, which means that it's either a broken formula or your chances of getting a Recollection are incredibly slim. Hell, I didn't get a Fleeting Recollection either. And, honestly, since the Tears of the Bazaar change the Nadir isn't quite so incredibly profitable for something you can only access once a week that also costs you stats. And there are probably better ways to limit access to the Nadir than making it a dice roll like that, like making Irrigo reductions a set number rather than a total reset. I'm pretty sure this is a bug! Also I'm pretty sure if Nadir access was meant to be restricted the changelog would have mentioned that, it's a pretty big change after all. edited by Spacemarine9 on 3/15/2014 edited by Spacemarine9 on 3/15/2014

This is a bug, I have to agree - if this was random, somebody would have been awarded. To go from eliminating all irrigo to a slim chance at reduction would be a pretty major change to drop in unannounced.
Perhaps rather than use Irrigo for the check, how about check for recollections. If there is one, don't award one. That check is used all the time for Second Chances.

If your character had Irrigo when Time, the Healer struck but didn't receive Fleeting Recollections, email support@failbettergames.com, stating your character's name and the approximate time at which it happened. I'll take a look on Monday. edited by Flyte on 3/15/2014

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.
No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

I really hope it's just a bug and a possible misunderstanding of the wording. Not receiving payments or removing irrigo would be ghastly.
