Hi,could we please SEE the map when we are at Zee? A nice "you are here" marker would be cool too.

Maybe a popup with "if you want to change your destination go to the captain's cabin", to avoid inadvertant problems.

I hope they only do this if they fix the map for mobile (or make it optional and/or accessible) . . .

I still stand by my opposite feedback, which is that the map is far too cumbersome and high-quality for mobile usage (and sometimes even on desktop). I'd like a choice of a simplified option, like the main map, and - even better - a simple drop-down menu instead of a map at all, so as to select a destination by text. The map is so bad on mobile that you can't even properly scroll and it takes ages to load and zoom out does not work.

It'd be good to get a drop-down menu option (for mobile, at least) for the main London map, too.

(Also, if you ever want to put new items in your store; posters or prints of the high-quality maps would be pretty awesome)

Don't forget to go into your account settings and enable the compatibility map! Even if the regular map works fine on your device, the compatibility map is a far superior design. There's never a reason to use the default map

I have the compatibility map, but it's still too big for my device and very high quality (only difference seems to be that it lacks the flashing GIF sections of light).

I'm sure other people have no problem, but it's not accessible to some people with visual issues, and its very fiddly and requires a lot of zooming out and scrolling and whatnot. The Zee is worst, as it seems to have no compatibility mode and I can't scroll out and stay scrolled out.

Hope this is the right place to ask:
I've been trying to buy fate for a while now. I'm using the same paypal account, fed from the same credit card, that i used successfully in the past. I've tried using the credit card directly, too. The error messages i get vary: sometimes it claims the card details are wrong (they're not), other times it says i cannot pay with this currency (i tried every single one of the available currencies), and others still that the transaction is refused (nope, the request never even went through to the credit company). To reiterate, this is a payment method that has worked here in the past, and still works elsewhere.
Help?

Are you using a VPN? I've had payment problems in that situation. They've also sometimes occurred when my browser was set to refuse almost all cookies.

With the VPN off, i got an entirely new error: "Amount must match the 3D Secure authorization amount". What.
Other errors, like "Do not honor" followed by currency name, still occur as well without the VPN.

Another suggestion: I notice Dante's has now been restricted to non-POSI contacts only.Might you perhaps change that to low notability (3 or less perhaps?)

Ny alt would have loved the menace reduction and with anotability of 1, would have no trouble maintaining it.

I feel you a little, it's awkward on my tablet. Fine on the laptop. I only want an option, not something required. A dropdown menu would be great on the tablet.

I love the new Carpenter's Granddaughter art, and it feels like an oversight that the Qualities "Familiarity with the Carpenter's Granddaughter" and "Rumour from the Carpenter's Granddaughter" still use "Bone12Small" art.

I'd like to echo the requests for an even simpler, preferably text-only and fully accessible, map mode--a suggestion I've made in the past, myself.

And in addition, I'd like to propose a stronger option than the currently available "Prefer compatibility mode on this browser". Why can't I tell Fallen London to *always* load the simplest map whenever I log in to my account, on any device, on any browser? Entering "fallenlondon.com/?compatibility=true" into my URL bar is a Band-Aid solution, and one that relatively few users are likely to be aware of.

Suggestion: staged release for special events, to cover world time zones. I just totally missed out on the crabs because I was asleep. Like, maybe release 1/6 of the amount every 4 hours?

Recovering from nightmares in the Mirror-Marches is now removing BOTH a memory of light and a substantial stack of dreams quality. Is this really intended or is it a bug? Raising dream stats is such a slow, arbitrarily random grind that it really sucks losing about 6 months worth of progress for no reason, especially when we used to just sacrifice a simple 0.50 item...

It's always been this way. The State of Confusion reduces all your basic dream qualities except Is Someone There? Mirror Marches reduces Is Someone There? only. Also according to the wiki it's like 10CP, which isn't a 6 months of progress by any stretch.

Leaving the mirror marches only required losing the memory of light for a long time.

And yes, that is about 6 months accumulation. I haven't been drawing the dream cards with much regularity for whatever reason, even with high nightmares.

Leaving the Mirror-Marches has reduced Is Someone There? for as long as I can remember.
