Why is Airs of Ealing Gardens (and other Airs qualities like it) sometimes findable in the Scrapbook selector, and sometimes not? More to the point, why are these Randomizer qualities hidden in the first place? Why was the Randomizer category on the Myself page ever taken away? What's the point of obfuscating this game mechanic?

One could suspect that the Bazaar thinks that you aren't cleared for that information, Citizen.

Or perhaps obfuscation is itself the goal. wink

I know there are technical reasons for it, but it is really nonsensical and annoying that we cannot send letters to other players if they are not currently in London. Especially nowadays that most of a late-game player's time is spent in the Hinterlands or Parabola.

Ignacious, the Fluid Professor, he will accept most social invitations, including boxed cats and affluent photographers (but only betrayals), though he is absent-minded and might take more time than entirely necessary. He apologizes.

While navigating the Hurlers, there's an odd thing where going to x location takes 0 actions, but returning to y location will take 1 action. It seems odd to me, as I can't comprehend an in-game reason why taking the exact same journey in reverse would require a different amount of actions.

Maybe it's like gravity. Falling down takes zero energy, while climbing up takes energy?

(And no, I'm not serious. 🧐)

Can I suggest that we add an option to our Trade Secrets where you can use them to get a mood (a la dusty bookshop/good omen).

Idea: Betraying someone via menace reduction social actions should give you the ability to act on their slight. You know, like the ones where you poison someone instead of healing them or when you dump all your scandal on someone

Recently found out about the possibility to marry September, one of the flagship companions from the last Feast of the Rose.

I'd be extremely excited if such an option were introduced for November as well, given that she was the other high-profile companion and a face of this year's Feast.
Any increased exposition of her would be welcome, but to be able to marry her, my character would be willing to give an arm and a leg. And a couple bottles of Master's blood to boot.

You can see it when the "Recorded for posterity" dialog box appears.

So far zailing is a lot more fun, and I do appreciate the new mechanics, but the new map is extremely difficult to use on mobile. If I zoom out to try and see more, it immediately zooms back in, and it's really fiddly to use. It makes it hard to pick a destination.

I do think it would be very helpful if FBG implemented an "extra-compatible" map mode, consisting of a simple dropdown menu with a list of destinations. Not only would it be far easier to use on mobile than clumsily pinching and scrolling the 2D map, I imagine it would be more accessible for persons who use screen readers as well.

110 points, 68% of the way to 160

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I would rather see "50 more needed" than a percentage

I'd love to be able to sell faction and holiday equipment. I got it when it first came out and now it's just uselessly cluttering up my possessions screen. There must be many more people in my position, I expect!

I second Gul al-Ahlaam's wish to sell unwanted special items.

However, if you don't want to let us do that, then how about creating an attic or storage chest where we can store those things we will not be using? It would help in not cluttering up the inventory. It could be a thing we buy, like a new wardrobe from the relickers. Maybe also a menagerie of our own for the unused pets.

I have two further suggestions, both related to messaging.
1. If a person is not available, please show that straight up. It is so annoying to respond to a request from a friend (eg coffee), write a whole paragraph of roleplay stuff, then have it vanish into the aether because they are not available. Perhaps a "save and send later" choice, or even just send the thing and let them have it waiting when they return.

2. I would love to have a link to the person's profile when they send you a message. Or in your list of contacts or somewhere. It helps with knowing what they might like to receive, as well as with roleplay.

One more thing! You can abandon your research, your expedition, and some other things, but not a brawl. PLEASE can there be a "flee" option!

feedback for the Clearing-Out Event:

For the past 48 hours things have been going way too fast. Especially since the first week progressed at a more sedentary pace, so there was no way to expect things suddenly shifting to overdrive.

The writing in the post-digging phase (the new locations, the Meeting with the Masters) seems hurried, lots of typos. Also, the different unlock options to take part in the meeting all get you the same text regardless, which is rather disappointing.

Poor or no sign-posting for the whole Dreaming sidequest (and who knows what else I missed).

Apart from those niggles though, it's been fun! And I'm sure the new locations will be great once I'll actually have time to explore them.

Our Bat Baby Burden doesn't show up on our profile page, even though there's a convenient gap where an extra equipment slot might go. I would like to see it there if that gap isn't load-bearing. I don't expect most people will keep a stat-eating Burden for very long, but counterargument: Fallen Londoners will do basically anything just because it's an option, and this is an awfully adorable anything. (I'll be Bat-sitting for at least a week because I want a particular End and am behind on certain relevant content, but every time I look at my possessions I see that icon at the top and think, "why not longer?")

Aside for a desperate need for a mobile-friendly zee map, I don't think the zee festival would anywhere near as frustrating, if we could a) use items on Mutton Island, and b) buy Fate items at once and not one per go.

For a), this is totally an RNG based game, and it's SO easy to wrack up menaces waiting for the right option to trade in items, and going to and fro from the island is about 10 actions, which we have to do a lot in order to play, in order to keep menaces down. Edit: I know some options open up on the trade in storylet, but they're also RNG based.

For b) isn't it better for both player frustration and FBG income? That way no one says "sod it" and doesn't buy the other items, as I'm tempted, because each go requires a another game of RNG Menace Rouelette.
