Protection from the Elements inventory filter

Am I alone in not seeing this?

No. Maybe you have to already have an item with a given property before that property shows up in the pull down menu?

I have items with that trait and don't see any such filter. I suspect that, given this is the Feedback thread, Waterpls may have been requesting that a filter be added.

Check whatever equipment you got from Whitsun last year. Most of the items with bonuses come from there, I've heard. Hellish Hymn also has it. That and my Whitsun item are the only two I have.

The Possessions tab displays your outfit options above the full possessions listing by category. Along side the possessions listing are shortcuts to specific categories of possessions. There is also a search bar inbetween the outfits and possessions displays. Is it possible to move the shortcuts and search bar to the top of the page please? If you are a packrat like me the list of possible outfit items can take up two or three screens and it gets tiresome to have to scroll down when I need to find a specific possession for things like conversions.

I admit its a petty little annoyance but such things have a disproportionate impact on the fun of playing the game.

The Unattended Mirror card in the upper river is kind of really useless once you have mirrors in Balmoral/Station VIII. Sure, it might save me an action if I'm somewhere else and happen to want to go to Parabola next, but it's a train action that gives a Rumour of the Upper River anyways so the relative gain is really minor.

Ignacious, the Fluid Professor, he will accept most social invitations, including boxed cats and affluent photographers (but only betrayals), though he is absent-minded and might take more time than entirely necessary. He apologizes.

That's true even if you don't have mirrors in those places, because you always have a mirror in London. Ealing is the only place where it's really useful, because Ealing->London is the only trip that doesn't give a Rumour of the Upper River. (And that still feels more like an oversight than an intentional design choice, though if that were true it probably would have been corrected by now.)

And speaking of things that seem like a mistake but have been around too long for that to be likely, what's with the question mark in the description of Unprovenanced Artefacts?

IMO that would make perfect sense if the question mark was outside of the quotation. wink

Many editors will tell you that question marks never go outside of a quotation. I don't remember the reason. Something to do with typesetting, I think.

Seems like there should be some room for it, for example:

Did she say "I swear"?

That said, the one in the unprovenanced artifact is egregiously bad and makes no sense. I'm still a bit salty over the change from the brilliant previous description and maybe it's motivated reasoning, but the question mark makes it look like it was changed by one person without consultation and/or spellchecking.

I am sitting here with a calculator trying to figure out how many times I need to do the Parabola thing that gives 28CP of Casing and cash it in at the Clay Highwayman's camp in order to end up with exactly the 18 CP needed to start a heist, and thinking to myself how much I dislike actions that reset a quality to 0 without rewarding you based on how high it was.
