I hope this isn't asked elsewhere, I couldn't see anything about it on the forums!

  • I used the access code from the emails (and today on facebook), but although it gave me a quality, I can't find anything to actually do with that quality! Is a storylet supposed to have opened up?

What Adam said. The snippets generally get done at weekends, and my weekends are full of Sunless Sea at the mo.

Incidentally, right now I am also getting full of Sunless Sea, as I fulfil our first stretch goal, on a tattoist's couch. Failbetter: we keep our promises. smile

This week's access code content has to be the greatest one so far. I actually laughed out loud while reading it.

There won't be an access code this week, and probably not next week, either. Alexis is intent upon the Sunless Sea beta, which is all of six working days away. They will, however, be back after that.

Apparently the Apicus Club snuck aboard our Zubmarine when we set out to see this morning, because we've discovered them in the cargo-hold, demanding jade, venge-rats and God knows what else. Could we call upon the great fez-tiger to chase them out?

Well, well, well! I just received this weeks snippet and I am *very* pleased with it. A miniature ship for my mantelpiece! Quite the conversation starter I assure you. It will certainly satisfy my desires for the zee until I can manage to acquire my own ship.

Ok, I traded my Master's blood (See my journal, if you are curious to the text, but it doesn't say much), and I got something called 'A Sealed Copy of the Crimson Book'. I have no idea what it does.

EDIT: It's not sellable, and it's not a useable item, so I guess I should just keep hold of it till it becomes useful. I should note it appears in contraband. I guess the master's don't want me to know whatever this book says.

EDIT 2: Apparently it is actually sellable, for 625 touching stories, (Thanks, Melesse.) which equals 1562.50 Echos, the same as the Master's blood.

You don't need to choose. I just gave them everything except my Masters blood, and the storylet is till here.
Tiny cavefish gives a Magnificent Diamond, by the way. The rest payed in Echoes.

Edit: I didn't have any Lacre left, so I don't know what that gives.

A recipe for zzooup gives 17.50 Echos. if you are wondering. Now, I can sell my 'A river in a box' to these guys, but I don't think I can ever get a second, so I'm not sure I want too. Anyone else willing to see if more than just pennies given for it?

EDIT: Violet amber gives 3 Echos. A bit of a letdown, to be honest.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Quick question. If you're an Exceptional Friend and go see him in the House of Chimes, there's a certain quality that must be 8-10 to use the option, and another that requires 11. Is that just different endings to a related storylet? (I specifically tried to avoid spoiling Fate-locked content, do forgive me if I broke the rules)

I believe that is the case. It was some time ago, but I am certain I finished the storylet to which you are referring - and I was locked out of two of the three choices that pertain to Odysseus.

Very intimate and pretty sad snippet this time, appreciated the writing a lot, thanks!

I like very much these small peeks on the quirky daily life of Fallen London, that probably wouldn't have the space of larger storylines but that leave you with the feeling of wanting to know more.

So, this week's code give us 2 different fate locked options, along with 2 normal options... I went for the fate locked ganting option with some leftover fate from the Mysteries tab. Gave me a nice bit of lore. It is in my journal, if you want a look. (I think that's allowed for fate locked stuff, right?)
