Since I reset my notability, and it's quite easy to acquire the first few points, I plan to spend the next 48 hours in the low values of notability in order to give notability points.
Any POSI who needs the first point to call the Amanuensis can ask now, guilt free.

I have not poked my head into this particular nook in some time; I have been very anti-social. My Neathy life has been taken over by the time-consuming, action-devouring pursuit of the Fidgeting Writer. By my calculations, I expect to be generating an obscene amount of Making Waves between now and April of 1894. I am happy to be a reliable go-between for those who care to encounter a certain Amanuensis. He has nothing more to give me at present and he does hang about so, nakedly hoping for a snack. Never trust a visitor who cares more for a mushroom souffle-tart than a long pour of something intoxicating.
Ahem. (Not that my mushroom souffle-tart is anything less than extraordinary.)
Currently, calling cards are accepted at my lodgings for the purposes of Notability. I do not need a greater sphere of influence, so a businesslike but kind snub will occur soon after I contact the Amanuensis on your behalf, in order that I may continue to arrange new introductions. Any customary forms of recompense (greeting cards, funds, meals, surprise packages, the pleasure of your surely scintillating company) are not required. This is as close as the Perative woman comes to a holly-jolly lacre-cracker mood. Preferential (i.e., speedier) referrals will go to those who use the message field to describe their card. I'm very easily swayed by stylish personalized stationery. And there is so much of it at this time of year!

No. well, yes, but not in a useful manner. Hallomas and hallomas alone offers up to 2 points notability regardless of POSI status.
But, even assuming you do the impossible and get the 2 points despite the fact you can only, officially, send out six cards, It'd take 2 years of hallomasses. simpler to grind into posi.

Dear Notable Fellows,
I find myself in the situation of being a Person of Some Importance who have yet to achieve a first point of Notability -- I've stored up a whole lot of Making Waves in the hopes of running across Slowcake's Amanuensis (who I previously lost with a 0-action choice).
I am willing to give you something in a trade (Like 30 bazaar first city coins) or send you a point of notablity if you every need it. I cant seem to get this card again so any help would be apritiated.

My influence is over 90, but if you can send me a calling card I can help with Notability.
Just be warned that I might snub you immediately after giving Notability since I need the space.
Edit: Make it clear that you want Notability, if that is your purpose, on a calling card or something. (Currently at 88 Influence.)

Not that I mean to undercut the market but I've got some notability to share myself. Mostly a karma thing frankly, I remember what a pain it was when I had zilch not too long ago. Of course on the subject of karma, if someone felt compelled to share anything nice with me I would by no means object! At any rate feel free to get in touch, same name as in the game.

I have enough BRD that raising my Notability from 1 to 2 takes only a single MW and then I can summon the Amanuensis with only 5 MW and help the above if I can just get that first point.
