It requires a parade of victories to get a sponsor in the first place, but once you have the sponsor you can use the gambit even without the parade of victories.

Victories are hard to get in the moon leagues regardless of strategy due to the heavy influence of luck. The best place to get a lot victories quickly is the iron leagues. Especially if you are a PoSI with lodgings.

So I took your suggestion, NiteBrite, and sent a bug report. It turns out the dev teams have went fully in favor of allowing players to withdraw from duels at any point just to avoid such a circumstance at mine. It turns out me not being able to leave because of a gambit was due to a very strange bug? Very strange.

But, I am free now. And no one else need fear a similar fate.

Oh weird, I never knew it was due to gambits. I sort of just thought it was a thing that happened exclusively to attackers. Glad to hear the devs are in favor of withdrawal at any time. Because getting stuck forever is no fun.

"A Polite Invitation" is now available outside one's Lodgings, in case anyone is still trying to flip K&C cards. (I just got it in the Forgotten Quarter.)

Has anyone else stopped receiving new Iron Tokens? It's been more than 72 hours and I haven't gotten any new ones.

Its been well over a week since I last got a sense of urgency, bjorntfh. Which is a serious issue. Sense of urgency is a vital part of knife and candle. With out it, things... just don't really work well at all.

Alexis says that there have been some irregularities with the postal service and that it'll be along.

Hopefully that'll be soon.

Ah, how strange. Someone tried to steal my mirrorcatch box. If I had ever had a mirrorcatch box, that might have been dangerous.

I lost my 11 win streak today.

I wonder why the RNG likes me so much in Knife & Candle but when it comes to getting that last skull it absolutely hates me...

I am noticing a fairly strong stream of token deliveries - about every day. Is that new or even intended? Didn't it use to be much less frequent?

It used to be every three days, but it seems to have reverted back to once a day? Except none of the K&C items or rules reflect that, so it may well be a bug.

Its hard to believe its been like three months since the last prize token broadcast. Man, how time flies. Does this mean the first tournament is over? Will there be future prize token broadcasts? I hope so. They were always one of the more intriguing aspects of the game when they were around.

Exactly what was a prize token broadcast? Free prize tokens for everyone? A celebration of players with the most tokens?

Just a top-up delivery of silver prize tokens for everyone playing - I think the last delivery contained three. I'm guessing there aren't many left in circulation now...

That would be sweet ^^

On a different note, I just happened to accidentally click "report" on a post I was browsing in this thread. As there is no confirmation request, I sent a PM to an admin to signal the error. Hope that doesn't cause anything unfunny :s

Resurrecting an old thread--in the past, has just joining the League been enough to eventually trigger a sense of urgency?
