I'm always happy to accept invites from new players. Feel free to tell me your dreams, have me tend wounds, etc. I'm high-level enough that I can get rid of Menaces pretty easily.

Of course I don't mind!  Invite away, and enjoy the game. Generally speaking, help from others is completely optional and is almost never necessary to the actual game experience. However, it is a lot of fun.
(To actually send invites, go to your lodgings.)

I'm thinking that Danica may have a separate Storynexus account name from her Fallen London account name. I almost had the same issue until I tracked down the duplicate Delmar Tramontane created from unfortunate Twitter shenanigans and changed the Storynexus name so that my real account could use it.

I've been around the Neath for quite some time but alas all of my friends seem to have either returned to the Surface or spend far too much time in New Newgate for me to make social calls. I'd love to make more friends!

It would seem that people need to add your twitter name (Karis_C) instead of your username. I really wish FBG would standardize whether we're using twitter handle, in-game name, or what :/

FBG has standardised on the username, which appears at the top of the user page, next to your own friends lists. You can change this name at any time.
