Recently returned to the Neath from a prolonged sabbatical, to take the air in other worlds. This new patronage affair seems highly agreeable, if any gracious friend has a mind to take on a captivatingly sinister protégé - the bread and butter of my current exploits are as follows:

Hello,
Would it be greedy of me to request two patrons? One for Persuasion and one for Stealth?
I am currently a Watcher by profession and quite enjoy investigative work, so I think I would get my practice there.
As for intimidation and sparring, I enjoy using bottles for target practice. They make a very satisfying shattering sound. I also enjoy hand-to-hand combat with pointy objects. So I think I'm covered there.
I admit that Persuasiveness is seen as something of a necessary evil. I do not enjoy it, but I recognize the usefulness of knowing people and being known. I could use help polishing my networking skills and social graces.
As far as Stealth goes, I am capable of being quiet. The problem is that people tend to know I'm up to something potentially illegal. Maybe this problem goes hand in hand with my weak Persuasiveness.
I do not know how I can help a patron, but I don't betray friends, I'm kindhearted for the most part, and generally upstanding. *coughs behind her hand, looking down* I am closest to the Constables and on Mr Pages' Reliables list, just so patrons have an idea of who I am. Oh, I'm also an Umpire for Knife and Candle.

A relative newcomer to the 'Neath I have been making my way and attempting to follow as many paths as possible.
I have recently realized this might be time better spent learning from a more experienced patron.

I am not accustomed to asking for help. I am capable of resolving my own problems quickly, efficiently and permanently. But I am also pragmatic and acknowledge that I would benefit from the tutelage of others more skilled and -- at least for now -- more dangerous.
Thus: I am seeking an Extraordinary Mind to sharpen my skills. Weapons are my primary focus. I have reluctantly accepted that I need to be more patient and eloquent. I find remaining unseen to be my greatest weakness, which is cause for much concern as my prey has fled to the Flit and I am unable to pursue.
Fair warning: I am not a kind, gentle, law-abiding citizen. I hurt people. I kill. I consort with criminals and deal in souls. I am also fiercely loyal to those who help me. Trust and reputation are worth more than a chest of rostygold.

Patronage you say? Seems quite the way to lubricate the mechanisms of the world and, being rather new to these climes, a certain measure of social lubrication would do rather nicely.
But what to choose? An Invisible Eminence seems to be the way to go. Shadowy dealings and all that, a good way to get to the source of things I expect.
As for myself, well, I'm as yet rather lacklustre but still deliciously earnest. Sixteen of watchful, a mere eight of shadowy, a paltry five of dangerous (it's just so grubby) and a hopefully sufficient persuasion of thirty two. I do hope that suffices to entice someone.
I'm unlikely to say no to other engagements for what little that may be worth. No harm in putting oneself about a little when investigating new environs.
