Hi all! I'm mired, I've been playing for about a year and a half. After being cool on the game for a bit, I'm back at it, exploring the mysteries of the Neath.

It appears I have not yet presented myself on this thread.

I'm Aximillio and I'm a student living in Norway. I also happen to be an editor of the wiki. I've been playing for quite a while, and I'm not per se new at the forums, but I'm delighted to welcome your presence in silence nevertheless. That is, not at the moment, as I'm not even in the city.

Possibly returned after a long hiatus. Please do not send live rats or tournament requests.

Ruen--new to the forums but several years into the game. I welcome social actions--I just took a hit to my notability and pocketbook acquiring a Sanctum. And if there is darkness in my future, is there not darkness in all of our futures...?

I should introduce myself! I played the heck out of Echo Bazaar back when it was still called that, but ran up against content barriers and forgot about it. Recently, with the holiday events I decided to take a look back in, and discovered that there were all sorts of exciting mysteries being discussed on these forums.

I'm a game narrative designer by trade, so seeing how everything fits together and witnessing the community's dedication is fascinating and inspiring. Fallen London has quite probably the finest prose of any digital game going today, and it's remarkably artful how mysteries are drawn out from small inconsequential hints to mind-blowing revelations about the world. I would be honored to join in the rampant speculation.

Only recently have I gotten into the habit of playing Fallen London, but I must say that so far the game is a blast beyond the wildest of my beliefs. I will say that I am just as new to these forums as I am to Fallen London. Merely call me Darkmianko and I'm sure our discussions will go most well.

Good day! I'm Thomas, and my character is Bennet Carlisle, a hedonistic immortality-seeker with an irritating conscience. I love Fallen London because I love stories and games that let me investigate mysteries. I welcome social actions of the friendly sort, and I'm happy to duel in Knife-and-Candle. I've been playing on-and-off for some years. I live in Scotland when I'm on the Surface. If anyone wants to share some Black Wings Absinthe, I've got nine bottles going spare, so feel free to ask.

    Greetings kind strangers,

My character has been running around the Neath since early autumn, mostly punching people and now capturing various creatures for the labyrinth. He's really looking forward buying a ship and sailing away to faraway places, possibly never to return. So far he hasn't been very social but I figured I'd give it a go now that there's a protogé system. Feel free to send me cats and whatnot.

The name's Mikael. I spend my time doing a bit too much, mainly martial arts, programming, writing fairy tales for grown-ups, designing board games, studying virology and various other things.

Salutations and felicitations all around, I'm sure.

I've been playing since early 2011, although you couldn't tell by the state of my accoutrements. My character is fascinated by The Glass and has chosen every possible opportunity to insinuate herself further into studying their lore.

In real life, I'm an aerospace engineer, nearly finished with my graduate studies in applied mathematics. Hobbies and passions include gourmet baking and cooking, gardening, martial arts, and word/puzzle games of every type imaginable. My husband and three very young children are fondly tolerant of my Fallen London habit.

I am nominally referred to as Adam, which shall suffice. I've been wandering the Neath for quite some time now, but only just started to make use of the forums here. Thankyou to those who've already assisted with my enquiries, its been most beneficial so far.

When I'm not in front of the screen enjoying this fine land, I'm generally hiking the Antipodean trails, drinking, or teasing my cats about their appearance. In about a week's time or so, I find out if I'll be spending the next 3 years at University studying the Correspo... sorry, Health Science. Here's hoping.

I'm Dorian Foster, named for that damnable song, no less. I'm haunted by a past from the surface that a few drinks may help me forget, but with a little work I may lay it down to pages.

I find solace in old things and odd things, and confess my thoughts to ravens. I draw them into pen and quill, and across rag-made pages.

I may as well say hello here, since I've posted around a bit. My username on most things is Suitov, as is my character's name (until I get around to changing it).

I'm fully stat-capped and lazily grinding for Overgoats while hoping to become a Paramount Presence, but am open to some invitations when I have the actions to spare.

My character is a bibliophilic generalist suffering an embarrassing, unspoken and, one assumes, unrequited love for a certain robed someone.

    Good Evening, Dears...

I will skip the Surface introductions- really very little reason to know that, I think. Unless you're interested in blackmail. In which case, I wish you the best of luck in your investigations.

Otherwise what I will say is that this is my second incarnation- my first life got herself locked up in limbo where no one could touch her. Que sera, I suppose. I look forward to making my way in the world in this life, however, and to become well acquainted with many of you. Some of you may have already found my calling card on your premises....

As so many people here have already become so deeply enmeshed in life underground, I find it difficult to butt into conversations. Therefore, I have taken to dancing silently around the edges- watching you, learning from you, learning of you, until the time comes where I have something delicious enough to share with you in turn.

    Until then.....

We have just realized we have yet to introduce ourself. Oh well. Here we go.

We are a high-school student living in Winnipeg, with dreams of becoming an audio-book narrator and an author.

In Fallen London, we play as the leader of a powerful criminal organization dedicated to uncovering deep truths and hidden rhymes.

We wish you all the best, unless you getting all the best forces us into getting all the worst.

We apologize in advance for any terrible puns or jokes we might make. They always seem so funny when we write them.

I guess I've never introduced myself here, so I should.

On the Surface, I'm Michael, a recent migrant from Durham, North Carolina to Richmond, Virginia in the US.

Down in the Neath, Trodgmey is a bit of a recluse, most at home either in the Forgotten Quarter or out to Zee. He's generally willing to put a bit of elbow grease in where needed, and if he has to be around other people, he generally prefers the company of the Bohemians (though he's wary of all of the honey tasting), the Revolutionaries (though their obsession with bombs and such repels him), and the Church (though the stuffed shirts and corruption make him weep for this Fallen world).

As a player, I've been remiss in taking advantage of the social opportunities in the game, preferring to plug ahead solo. Please feel free to make social connections, but I'm particularly interested in scholars Trodgmey can correspond with while at zee.

Hello, everybody! I have just started the game in November, so I am quite lost with all the choices... My character, Meredith Ingram, is a very persuasive and mysterious young lady, who has just started her way into society.

I am glad I am here - I might need some help with my game..... English is not my mother language, so.... please be patient with me.

Good evening, gentle humans. I too, am a human. No one has ever said otherwise. As a human in a human world, I sit at a lab, watching and analyzing SPACE! pictures. That is all I do.

My true residence however is in a city stolen by bats. You may have heard of it. I have occasionally desired human companionship, and have been known to provide the same to other humans.

    PS: I am a human.
    PPS: I definitely am human.
