O-oh! Hello my uh-oh... Im new down here. I belive that is apparent isn't it? Oh I tought so... In fact Im still learning this spoken language of yours. Lamproach? Oh no, no. I mean, what? Correspondence? Im sorry Im afraid I don't know this language too. What I mean to say is that Im still learning the city language, english is not my mother tongue you see? Well, I suppose it is time I make an appearance here, an official introduction, so to speak. You may call me Achanei, down here in the Neath, where I intend to stay for a while. Quite a fascinating place, really, it will keep me busy for some time I suspect.
I have been keeping my head low since I got here some months ago, came down on a boat, actually - some rather fervent fellow, was always going on about the Sun. Anyways, I am trading in secrets and doing favours, and while I will maintain a measure of discreetness that has served me well so far, if anyone is interested in some mutually beneficial collaboration, I am always happy to make new , delicious friends. I am currently mostly busy with making a bit of a splash in the upper reins of London's society, but there are plenty of other things I have cooking, too. I maintain a few addresses here and there, so if anyone wants to find me, you know how.
Be aware that I will be taking a few trips around the zee in the near future, as I have recently won my first ship in a certain game and will be making some use of it on some quixotic quest or another.

So, things are little odd here, cause we got one of us whose been throughout the city for years, and is near the top of his game at everything (except sneaking, old dolt's too heavy). Next we have two newcomers, just got here today, and are enjoying the Neathly delights/beginning a long screaming fall into oblivion. Good Evening, Ladies, Gentleman and individuals of mysterious and indistinct gender, it is nice to shake your hands or ends of tentacle-like extremities. I think it's finally time to introduce myself. My name is Tadgh De Danann, and to those of you knowing about the stories of old times, this should also be your anwser to what i am or at last want you to believe what iam descending from. Driven away from the surface i came down to find Oblivion and Rest in the womb of the Earth, but instead found an intriguing world of full of otherness and enigmas. Interest and Curiosity have become an obsession and and i am struggling with myself out of the fear that indulging myself deeper in the secrets of the Neath will drive me even further away from the last bit of humanity with each day, if this term is even fully suitable to one of my kind. But it's not possible to supress the urge and the hunger to know more, to understand, to realize, to discover the truth behind all secrets and lies, even if this way leads up to doom. Those who don't shy away from the risk may feel free to get aquainted with me. I am sure your aquaintances will be a delicious journey. Aside of that my real name is Tim and i am an ongoing archaeologist who just fell in love with Fallen London and the games rich and well written stories quite some time ago. Due to my time-consuming studies and my work i am not the most active forum writer, but from what i have seen this seems to be a great community, so i will try to come by from time to time.

Greetings, gentlebeings. I have been lurking around the forums for quite some time, but I believe proper introductions are in order now. My name is Miria Springfield. I came to the Neath a while back, in search of the person who changed my life; I sometimes affectionately call them "my Nemesis". Sadly,I am a poor, defenceless lady, completely appalled by violence, and I do not have the intellectual means to track my quarry and give them my proper regards. I have also heard rumours of something called "the great game", but sadly my knowledge of cricket is lacking and I didn't understand much.
I am open to all social actions save loitering and Dante's.
My sister, Claire, is also a citizen of the Neath, but I fear the poor thing is making her final preparations for a great voyage to the North,or so she claims. Perhaps one day I will follow her.

Good evening, beings.
Billy Bones jr came to the neath because he was so intrigued by Exaltation ending in Sunless Sea. He wanted to know what all that name-wich-burns stuff means. He hopes to find some answers by seeking the Name.
The easy part (where you complete all available gold cards, become exception friend, travel to the nadir etc.) is complete. He is preparing now for the hard part: parting with all those.
