Much as I love receiving Christmas cards I'm probably not the best person to be getting them as I am a stat capped player with low menaces and lots of second chances already.

I'd like to keep a reasonable number of Influence slots free for the hinted-at future uses, and I really don't want to snub anyone (besides nefarious Hallowmas betrayers, of course). So please don't send me any more messageless calling cards unless we know each other, a little. It probably won't do us much good to be acquainted with great multitudes, anyway -- especially if it gets in the way of developing a few more intimate ones.
That said, if your contact list is sparse and you're just not sure who to add, let me know. What I'm trying to avoid: using all my remaining slots on becoming the fifteenth or fiftieth acquaintance of someone who both has no need of me and is unlikely to contact me for anything more interesting than the odd, and oddly impersonal, private dinner.
