Three attacks on me from the new Reputation: Abomination story, won the last two, that was enough to drop me from "Did they always look at you that way?" to zero in my Reputation.

Social Actions: send them to Kade Carrion (she/her; no Tournament of Lilies, please). an_ocelot has gone NORTH and cannot benefit from social actions!

Possibly-Useful Things: Spreadsheets and hints and link collections, oh my.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Is it even possible to earn Notability 7 at the moment? The last I was aware, Slowcake's Amanuensis only allowed one to reach 5 or 6. To say nothing of the devastatingly high difficulty it would be for the Making Waves challenge.

The cap was 6, but now its 7. Getting to N7 is possible now. Difficult, but possible.

Interesting. The candle that's shut me out for ages is Cerise's, but it seems now wthat things are getting even more complicated, toward an end I don't understand.

    Intriguing.

  • Also, if Andy_m or Hannah McKay are Seekers and want St Destin's candle, ask and you shall receive. (Unfortunately, I don't have anyone who seems a valid target for receiving it on my confessions list, though I'm happy to help.)

Can anyone break down for me what Hithing and Trithing seem to do? I'm currently sitting without any R:Abomination and rather pleased with the fact.

Someone by the name of Regas has just offered me St Destin's candle with the attached message "FALL DOWN A WELL," despite my repeated assertions that I don't want the thing. Not sure what to do now. This is awkward.

Sending that thing costed him half his stats. Accept it or he is gonna be PISSED.

Reject it. You've said you don't want it. They are a Seeker and only have themselves to blame.

True. I sorta feel sorry for him but eh, Seekers know that everything is pain and nothing is postponed.

Compromise. Don't accept it, but just let it sit there indefinitely. Limbo is quite an appropriate place for a candle made of nothing, and at some point you may find it advantageous to be able to claim the candle. Of course, I'm a big proponent of never throwing anything away if it could possibly be useful...

I'm not seeking, but if I was in your situation, I'd accept it. It does not cost that much in stats to accept. And you never know, maybe you'll find a use for it later.

Hithing requires 7 enigmas and 100 Dangerous. Sending the challenge reduces your dangerous by a small chunk. Sender gets an advantage. The winner gets 7 Enigmas, the loser loses 7 enigmas. Both parties get about 7-8CP of every menace.
Trithing requires 3 enigmas, 150 Dangerous and 3 Hard-Earned lessons. Sending the challenge reduces dangerous by an even smaller chunk. Neither party has the advantage. The winner gets 3 Enigmas, the loser loses 3 Enigmas. No menace.
Both require a point of Reputation: Abomination to use or be eligible for.

Is it luckbased in one action or is it like moon league?

  • Can you send me a PM about "The really scary thing that i cant put on the thread" that you mentioned some time ago?
