Now let's just hang a lamp on it and all will be well.

Chiming in to say that I'd love to buy everyone's ideas!

Though what am I most likely to spend money on for a 2014 Fallen Merchandise Kickstarter? Plush toys, particularly of a Rubbery Man, and clothing accessories (scarves, ties, buttons, and pins). A Correspondence pattern for the scarves, ties and pins appeals to me best since it can easily blend into a formal work environment.

Please do not send me monstrous invitations tinged with the inks of the undernight or Boxed Cats. (I rotate my Starveling list, so it might take me a while to reach your name. I haven't forgotten anyone!)

I'd want a Correspondence coffee mug, personally.

Your stomach is not ready for the horrors that is drinking from a correspondence inscribed lead mug...

Same goes for Sparring,Loitering,Suppers and Games of chess! Sure I'll accept them occasionaly but I wont help you grind them most of the time.

It may also cause snakes to take up residence in your coffee mug and may or may not make your house catch fire.

Maybe this was already suggested before - but if a F.F.Gerbrandt's Tincture of Vigour beer mug or F.F.Gerbrandt's Superior Laudanum whisky glasses would be offered, I would come and pick them up in person smile.

Just got the card to vote on an item, I chose the tincture of vigor mug, because it's awesome (though it would be cool if the mug colour matched the bottle colour) but it was a difficult choice between that or the Correspondence keyring, so I thought I'd chime in here and voice support for that item too Big Grin

Also, I love the idea of keys! A battered key to the Tower of Sparrows! A gleaming, blistered brass key to the Western Tower! A slick, oily key to the Bazaar... Any of these things (with an appropriate little tag attached saying where it led) would be very at home on my keyring.

Edit again: Also ALL the support for travel posters, t-shirts with the tentacle lantern on them (or the Exceptional Hat, or any of the other iconic FL art), or ANY of the gorgeous background location images made into posters/t-shirts (I would love the Flit, personally)

AND oh my gosh, nice, largeish printed cards of the artwork! (either in tarot/playing card form or just as a deck of oddities to gaze at) would be amazing! (Though obviously not before Christmas) Or an art book!

Disclaimer, while I would love all of these things, I can only actually afford to spend around $20US, and the shipping would need to be very reasonable since I live in New Zealand :p BUT if there is merchandise that falls within that price range I will certainly be buying it! ♥ *crosses fingers for the mug*

I also just got the card. I notice all the tshirts say "Classic cut". Does this mean the cut that is often called Mens/Unisex?

I will be terribly disappointed if so. I am a very small-framed woman, so those never fit me well.

Since I'm not sure about the tshirts, I'm picking the Correspondence Keychain - I love that idea, but what would make it even better would be providing meanings and preferably letting us choose based on appearance and meaning.

How about a Mirror Marshes shirt with mirror writing you can only really read while standing in front of a mirror? wink

I'll be honest. I was a little disappointed when I saw a correspondence hoodie and keytags but no mug.

  • I desire a mug. I wish to drink the correspondence.

Not a tote bag - I discard them in places I hope people will find them and use them, as EVERY book event gives them out. But a nice bag I'd actually use. Like a red leather cross-shoulder satchel, with an image branded (is that the term?) on. A TENTACLE LAMP IMAGE. Or something correspondancey.

    (Tentacle lamp.)

Or a cross shoulder canvas thing, with similar image. Something simple and atmospheric, rather than cartoony, so could be worth with being a serious-real adult outfits, as well as everyday I dress like a teenage boy outfits.

  • Keep in mind that it's possible to emboss any logo you want onto something leathery with some careful cutting of acrylic, a clamp, and a hair dryer.

May I ask why Messr Gebrant prefers the idiosyncratic spelling of the colonies? It would certainly mark one out as an eccentric even in these changed times.

would totally wear the correspondence hoodie, as long as it's zipper front, insteaad of over-the-head. Though my first vote is still for tentacle lamppost tshirt. And I'm with dragonridingsorceress, "unisex" tshirts are always huge and look terrible on me, I would really hope ladies cut might be available.

Since here in Holland we do something called Sinterklaas for our gift giving instead of Christmas it will be too late for me to (let others) order anything. But next year I will definitely be sending them this way if there are some neat items available.

Both the mugs and the map look the most interesting to me. I'd like a larger map though, around 1.5 metres wide or so.

Just ordered some correspondence finery. Now if I can just avoid bursting into flames I will be happy this holiday season...though I suppose either way I will be warm.

Hm. I like the Correspondence much more as a sequence of sigils, on the shirt, than a single character, on the hoodie. So I got the shirt, though I don't need more shirts and DO need another hoodie.
