Trying to increase my menaces again to allow for more confessions, I've just now introduced my Grubby Kitten to the Starveling Cat.
The result was hilarious (echoed in my journal).

It's very early on, but one of my favorite lines thus far was something to the effect of:
"Screams are like wallpaper here. No one will come."
Ferociously evocative.
