Does anyone know if so far there is a clear difference between the rewards from the different sides? I've built it to three and have the card to proceed, but am not quite sure which to pick.

You can redo the two lines. I have completed my task following the AP and have now begone again following the Contrarian.

I greatly enjoy meeting delicious new friends and participating in deliciously exciting new adventures! Please feel free to drop a card to meet for dinner, exchange favors, give an interview, or any other activity that comes to mind. I DO particpate in exchanges requiring Fate, BUT you must contact me first; twitter, facebook, or here on the forums via PM.
Note: I am currently exchanging parcels with a large number of dear friends and my parcel opportunities are rare. I am always willing to exchange but your rate of return may be rather slow. To find others to exchange with I recommend the Starveling list.

I am also interested in this story. I just made the first step in the story, but it looks like I'll need more points.

Friends,
speaking about the Affluent Photographer, wretched I am! For a moment I got distracted and I picked the wrong choice between the Photographer and the Contrarian. Do you have knowledge of a possibility of correcting it?

Third Card: [spoilers]
Greyfields socialist?
You track down the Nostalgic Sonnetist to an impromptu poetry evening in the Singing Mandrake. His allusions are banal, his rhymes desperate, his imagery incomprehensible. It is with little remorse that you hand out the required beating behind the pub at closing time. Passers-by applaud your work.
An hour later, you're sitting next to the Affluent Photographer, eating a steaming plate of hearts at Dante's Grill. She orders more wine and says, 'The Cause has been going in a hundred directions for years. So, a council of bold revolutionaries has shouldered the burden of leadership. The Calendar Council. I'm not on it, of course, but I help out where I can. March will be very pleased at your work. Contact me again soon and I think I'll have something for you.'

End of the line spoilers for those who've chosen the Photographer:
Just Rewards You have made your choices about the Affluent Photographer. Who awaits you with a gift that borders on payment? Very black indeed The suit is blacker than a Master's conscience. The light soaks into it like drizzle. What could you do in such a suit? What could you not do?
I lost all three "A Marked Month" and my Affluent Photographer story, but I got a nifty new suit which gives me +1 to Shadowy and +1 to Dreaded. Not nearly as cool as my Ratskin suit, but not bad as far as rewards go.
The final reward from the Jovial Contrarian is: A "Neddy Jacket" which provides +1 to Shadowy and +1 to Respectful Not bad rewards when you consider these are stories which can be begun early and continued throughout one's career in the game. edited by Nigel Overstreet on 4/30/2012

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I just can't progress with the Contrarian. And, yes, the Photographer reward does seem rather redundant.

Um, excuse me, but I still have never seen this card. Is it location specific? Do you need to have anything to trigger its appearance?

This card popped up:
A Tiny Crime The Affluent Photographer is looking for an agent for a little larceny. Nothing too taxing or dangerous, this time.
Oblige her 'A new arrival from the Surface has a package of... well, that doesn't really concern you. Just pick a pocket and we're done. It's all for the Cause.' Consult the Jovial ContrarianT he Jovial Contrarian is a difficult sort, but he's argued the virtues of law and stability. What does he think of this?
The first option requires Connected: Revolutionaries 1 and Trailing the Affluent Photographer 3, whereas the second option requires A Marked Month 3 ... which I've no idea how to get! Does anyone know?

You gain a Marked Month every time you complete one of the other Trailing the Affluent Photographer cards, the ones that require 3 x Trailing the Affluent Photographer (they are listed in the spoilers of MaurnaFrost, Myke Harryson, and Lawrence Growe. It is reset when you gain the reward for those cards (the spoiler given by Nigel Overstreet)

It seems once one has sided with with either the Photographer or the Contrarian one may start the storylet over again and gain either another Sable or Jacket or gain the other and have both a Sable and a jacket; as I have now! I would have bet money you could only have one or the other, but there it is!

It's like this story with a body of anarchists named for the marking of time is suggesting that the participants are freely playing both sides!

I accidentally just sold my Neddy Suit (because it looks exactly like Workman's Clothes, which I had meant to sell). Is it possible to obtain it once more? I know it's not much with its +1 Shadowy and +1 Respectable, but it's a nice piece for the collection.

You don't even have to sell off one to get the other. You can have both an Anarchist's Sable and a Neddy jacket as well as multiples of either.
