How does one add friends?

How would I go about adding a person to my friend list so I can participate in the tournament of lilies and other such nonsense? -- I like passing cats. follow me @Nerdofsky

But please don't send me invitations to private dinners. And Nightmares may take a very long time to accept, unless you're willing to take some of mine in return.

If you play by email, sadly you cannot do social actions (Which is lame, social actions are my most favorite thing!) -- Looking for second chances to maximize your loot output from those troublesome storylets?
