I just got this card for the first time

In the description of an option it says:
Give evidence
Secrets can be more dangerous than knives or bullets. You should be responsible. Major loss of favour with Criminals, small gain of favour with Constables. Warning: at higher levels of Connected, this may be less optional!
So I'd like a clarification, what will be less optional? This choice? This card? Do you get it more often as both connection rise? I'd like to discard this card, as playing any option is obviously not in my favor. But am I supposed to choose sides?
And for some reason the other option does not contain this warning.
To the developers: I think your warning could be better worded.

Gah. This is a bug - the card shouldn't say that - it should just read: "Some loss of favour with the Criminals, greater gain of favour with the Constables."
I'll fix.
