Hello,
I don't know if it is really a bug so I'm writing here. I noticed that with the shift from Echo Bazaar to Fallen London it is not clear anymore which are the items one doesn't have in a locked choice. Before the missing items (or charaqcteristics) were a bit shaded while now they are in full colour. It's more confusing in this way (I know you have just to pass the mouse over them, but the previous way was much more visual!), so I hope it's just a temporary solution...

It's the artist's choice, I think. If you look to the right, where the "Go" button normally is, you'll see it says "Locked" and is unclickable if you don't have the qualities/items/etc necessary. It's a bit confusing at first, but perhaps it just takes some getting used to.

Much harder to navigate on a touchscreen though when it is difficult to view "mouseover" text at all.

Hrm given all the...reaction we had when the changed is first made, I'm hoping for a bug. I found, after the day or two to get used to it, the shading system to be a fairly quick "that's locked, oh that's because I'm short 15 levels in the University but I've got everything else".

Yes - this is a side effect of the recent upgrades. The shading will be back soon.
