Congratulations, Grenem! 8-10 days and you'll have your connections, but don't get to connected with them! They're sneaky bastards!

Well, yeah, they're ruthless in pursuit of souls. but if you had were a species where every member was born with a leech attached to their neck, one that was neither beneficial nor harmful- or perhaps both in equal measure- and another species collected those leeches, what would you feel about the second one? Besides, they don't need to get dirty in pursuit of souls, usually.

Once you ignore the religious sterotyping, they're really no nastier- probably less nasty than- humans. Sure, they're ruthless and cutthroat, but... have you been to london? most of us have poisoned purfume for a single echo- we have no grounds to judge them.

I wasn't talking about religious stereotypes, but the reward in selling your soul (insert shinny diamond here)! I wasn't intending to increase my Connected with the Church, but that damn card is so great that I'm at 100+ Connected Church w/o grinding it at all.

As this is a celebrating thread I would like to add that I'm soon eligible to become a Monster-Hunter! Have the card for a few days in my hand, level 3 Duelist and grinding RB to face Feducci as I read it'll take me from 3 all the way to level 5. The only blocker will be my chance to succeed the card's challenge.

Congratulations on the reward!

To be fair, being paid ten echoes in return for a celestial parasite isn't a bad deal at all- it's only when you start inflating its value that it becomes a con.

After 5 failed attempts (3 separate card draws with their accompanying Second chances) - including 2 uses of Exceptional Circumstances! - I am a Midnighter once more (hide your orphans!). And when my hand refreshed, I drew the Urchins card, to take on the title of Canon.

I have my second M-----'s B----! Though frankly I have no use for either of them, especially as the slackers in the Apicus Club decided not to hand out any Crimson Books this winter. Still, they'll look nice together on the knickknack shelf.

I have been waiting so long for the combination of enough fate, and enough diamonds, and enough nightmares. This has been made worse by my penchant to visit the Marches and dump my nightmares.

    But, at last.

    I have a Fabulous Diamond!

Any plans to grind 50 of them or just to get one? Another option would have been to get involved in Soul Trade, sell your soul to get the shinny diamond and use Fate (or wait for luck to struck you) to get it back.

Ahhh, no. I'm happy to call this one enough. I just want to have one really BIG diamond for my collar.

(In fact Absimiliard wears it on a small leather collar around their neck, almost like a belled cat, except with a diamond in place of the bell.)

ABOUT DAMN TIME! AND EAT IT ORTHOS, I GET TO TEACH ARCHEOLOGY AND YOU DON'T!

The urchin is on the spot, since I decided to teach mostly Cryptozoology. And the occasional Prelapsarian Archeology, just to spite Orthos.

Finally, after far too long grinding, I have finally managed to trade in 3200 scraps to the Shivering Relicker to get my hands upon a Breath of the Void. It doesn't actually do anything right now, but I feel accomplished to get one after eyeing up the 3200 scrap options for years now. Next up, either a second master's blood to replace my old one, or to finally get myself an overgoat.
