The problem is figuring out which ship is most "me". On the one hand, I did take the time to grind Scholar of the Correspondence to 10, and have a general need to know, so the "sciencey" zubmarine might be a good choice. On the other hand, I do very much like luxuries and hedonism. Heck, the main reason why I do all that research in the first place is that I adore the respect and appreciation I can get from others when I figure out some new, better way to do things. So, in that regard the yacht may be my kind of thing.

I had that very debate about it. Finally I decided that my zub would as Nautilus-like as I could afford to make it and went with being able to explore the depths.

At last my zubmarine is complete! Now I can roam the Unterzee and finally nab that plated seal.

Huh. I have... accomplished something interesting, I think. I have a capped stat now, but it is not my highest stat. My capped stat is Persuasive, and my highest stat is Dreaded (no, not really. It's Watchful). Then I go back and read the announcements and notice that is actually says that the cap level will not be uniform for a while. Ah well, still didn't expect to run into this situation. It's not a bad situation by any stretch, merely an unusual one I feel. Bizarre, even.

News in the Neath: Noted citizen of Fallen London, Abraham Bounty, has acquired six hundred and sixty six souls. Additionally rumour has it that the lion's share of those souls was from a theft of The Brass Embasy itself. We are quite certain that this portents nothing ominous for him. Well, nothing unusually ominous anyway.

The stat situation is that watchful & Dreaded are capped at 140 while Persuasive and Shadowy are capped at 130. This might change soon.

Regrettably, the text does not give one the title of 'The Napoleon of Crime'. A lamentable oversight.

I've capped my first stat! Got Persuasive up to 130 with an interest in the Foreign Office and a lot of risqué jokes.

Why would it? We are British after all.

Paris, always Paris.

On another note, does anyone know who has the highest Great Game connection?

That would be the Neath's first Scarlet Saint, Scarlet Fenwick.

My luck's been pretty unremarkable for the most part, but some events tonight have inspired me so much that I've joined this community just to share them with you. I've been having a damned time working the Fidgeting Writer storyline, often getting stuck on the second to last stage. Tonight was my first time succeeding all the way to the end, allowing me to finally find out what the end result of all that effort was, to admirable results. I was telling my associates about the good fortune (they are both fairly low level and haven't even had the opportunity to try the storyline yet) when the conversation turned to my next goal: acquiring a salt weasel. Lo and behold, what turns up in my next set of cards but a milky white companion of my very own! That these two bits of good fortune finally came to me, and within such close proximity of one another seems to me a notable bit of good fortune.

Finishing the Fidgeting Writer storyline and getting a Salt Weasel at roughly the same time?

...I want your luck.

I just got my 1000th Certifiable Scrap. Yes, there must be people who have more, and yes, it's more than a Roomful but still less than a Multitude, and we can't yet have the stats to cash in either of those amounts. But it feels like progress towards that Breath of the Void or whatever I end up cashing them in for someday.

My Prophet of the Gutter has increased to 10: An unmatched circulation!

The Overstreet Underground is the tabloid of record. I am the Rupert Murdoch of Fallen London. News of the Underworld. I had to hack soooo many bats.
I mean, some ginger lady did.
Without my prior knowledge.

I've just capped my second stat, Watchful!

It's funny, I remember thinking 20 Watchful was really high. I remember getting 2 Whispered Secrets and thinking "I've hit the jackpot!" I remember looking up to those big, stat-capped players and thinking "I'll never get to that level..." And now I am that fancy, PoSI elite. Oh, how things change...

Though my luck for the most part of this is anything but *good*, I am now the proud owner (?) of an overgoat.

The latter part of this was through the Fidgeting Writer, btw, which gave me much less encouraging rates than some people here have posted - 1.77 echoes per action without taking into account the cost of getting the materials. If anyone is collecting detailed stats on this, I can throw some numbers at you...

Now to the next challenge...

Considering I have now done every bit of content in the game (Barring some I have no interest in, like the tournament of lillies), it will come eventually as I work on grinding for overgoats and such.
