Also, I've reached 200 connected with the Rubbery Men, but alas there is no new moniker to report.

Yes, I know. :-) Hopefully, I will get mine soon!

Thanks to some kind advice from travellersside, I now have Connected: The Masters at 9: There May Be Indiscretions. I can only imagine what manner of indiscretions these are. Actually, it is probably better I don't imagine.

Most impressive sir! I just wish I had not been drinking before I clicked on your profile... I now have to wipe clean my computer screen.

On another note, I now have the pleasure of being hosted at the Premises of the Bazaar. Although i'm rather worried, this collection of very potent bottles of 'wine' and book of secrets were my house-warming presents, I worry what I may of gotten myself into...

And I thought my 381 connected Hell was a big deal. Oh well back to grinding.

I have not only gotten my final residence, but that was also the final bit of post-PoSI non-plot/content grinding I had to do. I have all the affiliations, home comforts, joined a club, have three modes of land-based transportation, and I captain a clipper that can be categorized as 'not-slow'. The only thing I have to do is to find myself a companion to be at my side during the further trials the neath will doubtlessly provide, and the only reason I have not is because I have yet to decide which of the many eligible candidates I should be living in sin with.

On a slightly unrelated note, I have the clipper, not one, not two, but three pirate hats, where is my eye-patch Failbetter? Or do I have to turn in my Tell-Tail Beetle for a Preening Macaw (I would rather not do this as I rather like the image of a pirate standing there with a beetle as large as his head on his shoulder rather than a bird that wants a cracker)?

News in the Neath: Noted citizen of Fallen London, Abraham Bounty, has acquired six hundred and sixty six souls. Additionally rumour has it that the lion's share of those souls was from a theft of The Brass Embasy itself. We are quite certain that this portents nothing ominous for him. Well, nothing unusually ominous anyway.

I've also done all PoSI content that I can think of, except for a few. I've yet to get one of the higher tier vessels (trying to decide which one I want...), and I haven't yet actually finished Riding the Savage Cobbles (Partly because it breaks my heart in a way to be doing so many actions without any reward)

The Orphanage.

Attracting Attention At The Orphanage was 1 CP away from 6. I just needed the roof key. The bronze-bordered card to get it stared at me. I stared back. The challenge was high-risk, but I didn't feel like grinding Shadowy. I took a deep breath and clicked.

"You succeeded in a Shadowy challenge! (Risky challenges mean you learn more)."

BEST. FEELING. EVER

I'm grinding Whirring Contraptions at Wilmot's End, and my Scandal's at 7.7 - I try to go to church, but am unlucky and it goes to 8. I switch to my inventory and the bazaar frantically looking for anything I can use to lower my sanity. Unsuccessful, I click on the message window and find that at that exact minute @RustingGuns responded to my decrease scandal request from 4 hours earlier.

SO RELIEVED.

Go for the Clipper, man. A real beauty, and relatively cheap to boot.

Go with whichever ship is most you. I thought about getting a Zee Clipper because, at the time, it was the more utilitarian decision. Let be honest though, you'd be a little disappointed if I didn't have the Yacht. The yacht is very Nigel; equal parts Lord Grantham & Jay-Z.
Given the bonuses and new cards on the Sea of Voices, I think whichever boat is "best" is definitely open to interpretation. I honestly think that, in the long run, it all comes out in the wash and a few actions here & there won't make a world of difference.
Get whichever boat is best for for you.

It's nothing big, but having very little left to spend money on - and spending a few weeks melting statues and bombing financiers - had the pleasant side-effect that I was able to afford a Tigress today. I think I shall be starting a collection. London is infested with financiers.

Go with whichever ship is most you.

Seconded - that's the whole reason I went for the Zubmarine in the first place. The Rusty Tramp Steamer is a surprisingly good option; the advantages of the higher-tier vessels are marginal at best, and they're more or less equally good.

My advice is that you either take the Clipper, or take the ship that enhances the new attribute (Respected, Dreaded, or Bizarre) you are specializing in. That said:

I took the Yacht because I needed the Respectable to talk to Dr. Vaughan, and I didn't feel like grinding for the Landau.
