Good day to you all! It is my very great pleasure to announce that Maelstrom has surpassed 5,000 registered players, and I realise we've just passed our 1 year anniversary since announcement too!

It has been a bumpy ride, and I know I've learned a great deal over this year. I hope it's all in all been a fun ride for you. There is much more coming to Maelstrom over the coming weeks and months - new islands, new adventures, investigations and mysteries, battles and war, so keep an eye on the testing thread and the Maelstrom twitter account (@MaelstromSN) for news as it comes.
If you have enjoyed Maelstrom, I hope you will consider tipping a little or refreshing your actions with Nex, in order to support development. And that is the last time I will ask until next year, I promise.

Excuse me miss, do you have a forum for the game where Intrepid Explorers can find out more? Or will you post up an overview of the game here that is more detailed that what is shown at the character creation page?

Discussion of the game generally happens in the playtesting thread. There is no separate forum, or wiki or such, though I would be very happy to see a fan wiki appear some day. To find out much about the world, for now, you have to play. =)
EDIT: In response to the quoted question, I think it's time to publish the official Maelstrom Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/maelstromsn - Like to handily see any news or discussion that you might otherwise miss!
