I think it is a little premature for people to think about buying three Overgoats when, as far as I know, no-one with two has seen the opportunity card yet. (Am I the only one foolish enough to have two? Well, I'm flipping cards as fast as I can.)

Well balls, I almost have my first Overgoat, and here I was hoping I could get an Ubergoat before too long. I guess it will take me another year.  And then Mr. Eaten will probably eat him anyway

I have discovered that I can afford a second goat at this very moment if I am willing to sell ALL non-equipment items worth less than 60 echoes. That would wipe out my stores of, well, everything! It's...really quite tempting though. At least I only feel compelled to grind a few thousand echoes to leave myself a cushion.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.
No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

I don't actually remember how long I ground for my first Overgoat, but I am reasonably sure that it was back before the Affair of the Box (which I actually find a very pleasant grind), so it took even longer . . . back in the days where we walked uphill, both ways, and there wasn't even any lacre to make things look nice . . .

Do you know, I kept thinking about Alexis' wording and ultimately decided to risk slitting my own throat with Occam's razor by liquidating some of my for-the-Cider stash. I had all necessary Echoes handy because of it, but it's very nice to see that said liquidation was not in vain. (Or in vein, taking into account my opening imagery.) Alexis is one tricksy, sneaky son of a tiger, though.

You know, I think at least this time he played straight and fair - the hints were actually elnlightening more than confusing. Well, the first ones, at least XD
I feel strange now. I mean, I'll probably grind for another Overgoat, but with no hurry - I like a +30 Watchful pet, but most of the thrill was actually cracking the enigma. To actually GET the prize is slightly less relevant to me than good teamwork *_*
