Who do I talk to about possibly getting some spoilers to include in my story? I'd like to be able to include details about the Iron Republic, the Brass Embassy and things like the Knife and Candle and Black Ribbon characters. But, I find it hard because I don't know them, and my speculations and fancies, while flavorful, would look idiotic if included in the tale and then refuted by future information releases.

That hasn't stopped a legion of roleplayers and fanfiction writers before. If you wait for the source material, the FL game, to complete itself so you can have the full information, that's a year away at the least. Goodness, can you wait so long to tell your tale?
Do the best you can now with what you know. You can always go back and revise parts of your story if clashing material arises, or you can simply say yours is an Alternate Universe piece. :P
