As a sidenote i've discovered that Mirroring quality effects in social actions is exceptionally weird and arcane and has worked exactly once for me. All the other times? Nothing happens. I don't know why.
Extreme Fancy Duels use it as a method to make you lose all your Rat Points and give them to someone else on a loss. I managed to get that working properly. Trying to repeat roughly the same effect with rats... didn't work. I don't have any idea why. And then I made the same social action into a carbon copy of the Extreme Duel without the Fanciness challenge and it didn't work either.
What I'm saying is that i'm really good at breaking things and am probably going to set a database on fire somewhere while i wonder how the hell anything works.
I have no idea if any of this is a bug or i'm just trying to do things in a weird hacky backwards way that only worked once by sheer coincidence.
Look for a "Send all Rats" option in Rat Sending whenever i figure out why Mirror qualities are untrustworthy and treasonous.

I've been fishing folks out of the hell zone non-stop since yesterday. It costs many millions of rats, but is fun. If you've sent me rats and I haven't sent rats back, its because all my rats have been funneled into hell zone rescues lately. But at least almost everyone should be out now.

oh whoops i appear to have made that option completely redundant while tinkering with some of the early unlock requirements. you can still progress if you just go use the well card, im going to go fix that now though
E: oh wait i just had a wonky maximum lock. i screw those up really often
the progression should be:
[spoiler] well -> get candle -> book -> well again -> various cards -> well again -> ???? [/spoiler]
