If I choose the top option (the glim, as opposed to the key to flute street) will i see the card again? I'm hoping the answer is yes...

Well, the fate locked path in the Labyrinth will do it for you, and with minimal grinding, but the non-fate way to do it is actually to just grind out Symphonies in the Empress's Court, choosing the SOtC option every time. That can get it as high as ten, if you've not been kicked out of the court. The other (regrettably expensive) way is through Shadowy Dealings at the University.
