Many years later, but I am curious: Does this line of the story go anywhere? It seems to me that you max out and, unless you use fate locked content, it's just a way to grind glim? I get the card a lot but have begun to simply discard it (not sure that I need the glim). Maybe I'm waiting for something else to happen, though>.

Yes, it's just glim (and there are better sources elsewhere in London). Although note that it is an excellent low effort way to gain Scholar of the Correspondence to 7 if you don't have it yet.

ever so many thanks. I have SOC to 7. Cannot figure out how to get it beyond that. Was counting on glim sculptor. He let me down.

I recommend taking the fate-locked path in the Labyrinth . . .
Follow it long enough, you'll find an opportunity to increase your SOC.

Well, the fate locked path in the Labyrinth will do it for you, and with minimal grinding, but the non-fate way to do it is actually to just grind out Symphonies in the Empress's Court, choosing the SOtC option every time. That can get it as high as ten, if you've not been kicked out of the court. The other (regrettably expensive) way is through Shadowy Dealings at the University.
