With 14 MA it's 50% chance, still not worth it. But 85% chance with 312 dangerous. I am going to die soon and sit a bit in London. Maybe FBG will tune numbers down.

We're well below 8,000 hp left (where the first 'berg started). I don't expect this one to last a second night, unless it's dropping drastically slower now than it was before.

It would be pretty cool if this kind of hunting had an impact on Fruits of the Zee.

Now down to 2000 HP; if it's going to move from the Sea of Voices into Shep's Wash, it'll need to do it soon, and it won't be there for long without a really stupendous boost to evasiveness or the amount of pursuit required.

Can confirm, Colossal Lifeberg 2.0 has been sunk. Never made it past Polythreme.
5/3 - 5/4. RIP.

Hopefully this time at least it lasted long enough that most people that wanted to take a stab at it got a shot. Still, 2 days is pretty short.
Well, I'm sure it's not the last, I bet the crab hunts and lifebergs will be back again sometime. Not sure when, then, if FBG thinks everyone that wanted to got a shot at this one, they might keep the lifeberg on ice for a year

Social invitations of all kinds welcome! I'll return boxed cats and letters, and happy to accept plant battles. LMK if you need a discordant missive or a point of notability.

I did this a total of 16 times, before my Nightmare reached 8 and I had to go away. The Lifeberg had barely 100+ life remaining after my last attempt.
Exchanged the 16 Valorous Deeds for the Salt Steppe Atlas, the Waterlogged documents and some Bessemer steel ingots. Not sure if this was more profitable than just exchanging for the silks (Ivory Organza).

Can't wait for more Lifebergs or global bosses.

I take note that this event is the only other (non-Fate, non-Ambition) way to get the Element of Dawn, apart from during Hallowmas where you need to select a specific reward.

I managed 24 hits. I wonder if FBG is satisfied with current numbers. Or next berg will be more tough.

Glad I caught it this time. I do like these type of things. My Monster Hunter, he didn't like it so much, though. Ended up meeting the Fathom King for the first time. He seems to have more courage than sense, and was a little, shall we say, out of his depth?
My seasoned main zailed through it, though. Nothing stops her.

I managed to die in a non-story-required way for the first time in years by failing a check in the Corsair's Forest. Went from 6 Troubled Waters up over 8 in one shot.
Good thing I got the Cider a month or so ago.
Are there rewards over 16 turn-ins?

Someone got 77 rewards the first time around. 16 is the highest.

I met the Fathom King for the first time too; had no idea he even existed so that was a fun extra to this activity!

This hunt was better. I think the next 'berg should be a bit tougher, give a sense that maybe it could actually reach London.
And I'm curious what would happen if it actually did.
(Oh, and a naughty thought. What is some wanted to help the Lifeberg fight off the Citizen's Armada? Hmmm, it started in the Khanate's waters and they have no love for the upstart Londoners....)

At least I had a go this time. 4 deeds and then it was sunk.

Send me anything you like. Be decent, though. Bad stuff is fine if you attach a warning. Timezone eastern Australia. Embrace asynchronicity.
