Mask is deterministic in places where our previous games have used randomness: success in a given challenge depends not on a die roll but a combination of variables affected by the choices you've made. But your outfit certainly still matters: present yourself as an avatar of the law, for example, and prepare for difficulty ingratiating yourself with people on the other side of it.
