Wines' primary motive is obviously just to screw up Spices' plans, but when you talk to Pages about it, he actually makes the point that a) that wish doesn't mean it's not a good outcome for the kid b) in its heart of hearts, Spices might not really mind the result either. And after all, as Pages explains, if the kid had any objections to your choice, it wouldn't go along with it.

Yeah, to be honest, getting out of the dysfunctional bazaar servitude contract might be best for the baby. The Masters and the Bazaar aren't exactly thriving down here in the neath.

Without too many spoilers, which would be better: choosing Mr Spice's option or choosing Mr Wines' option? I'm a bit worried I could go the whole of the Zee journey, only for his motives to be malicious or something bad to occur to the baby. Equally, I don't want to miss out on any sort of special items or interesting lore by picking Spices.

You've probably made your choice already, but for what it's worth literally sending Mr. Transport to Hell...isn't actually as bad as it sounds? There's a sort of welcome reception, and Mr. Transport is explicitly at ease.

If he's considering the choice between Spices and Wines, then Hell isn't an option for him anyway.

Well, the generation of 200000 Scrap turns out to be quite a long-term project even if you have a very sizeable capital in Echoes (~100,000).

Is there actually any of you fine folks around in a position to get hold of a Hellworm within the next month or two? It seems that I'll be stuck grinding Fossilised Apes and creating ritual Brass-Headed Skeletons for the next quarter year...

I have to say, an opportunity to visit Avid Horizon was quite welcome for my character who flirted with Seeking solely for the chance to get a glimpse of the Beyond. Good times al around. For a Nemesis player and a Revolutionary, I'm actually getting surprisingly fond of the Curators. Tired, battered, broken, petty, occasionally half-dead poor little space bats that they are.

Just wanted to appreciate that the most efficient way to convert echoes to scrip is to murder people (as a licentiate) and then sell the bodies to a constable who's looking for evidence of recent crimes, after slapping a fake head on it.

"Yeah, I heard you were looking for murdered people. I've got some more right here. No idea how I keep finding them, honest. Same pay as last time, bud? Good luck finding who's doing all this murdering!"

Based on the Wiki, it seems someone has finally obtained a Hellworm.

...the saddle is sold separately.

And then another 200k so you can have both a saddled and unsaddled hellworm. Obviously.

How, HOW did someone get a Hellworm this fast anyway?! Was someone incredibly scrupulous and dilligent grinding scrip during Railway, or were they willing to spend a LOT of Fate VERY VERY QUICKLY?

Gosh darn it, I regret even burning up the pittance the game dared you to do for the sake of the Creditor's feelings.

There was quite a bit of fate spent on action refreshes, I understand, and countless brass skulls purchased for echoes and attached to victim skeletons to be sold for scrip

Also, the guy said that he had been saving up for a cider and was most of the way there, just converted those echoes to scrip.

Oh. Okay yeah, now that makes sense.

...dammit, I really do enjoy being a Correspondent but I've got a Hellworm-shaped hole in my Hellworm-shaped heart and while I can get 20 skellies done in a day my echoes are slowly, slowly running out. And murdering people to mutilate and resell their corpses to the cops is becoming increasingly attractive.

Also, should someone make a Hellworm owner club in the salons? I know we have Cider and Goat Club, it just makes sense.

And then Failbetter announces the Heptaworm so you need seven saddled Hellworms.

That's what we get for buying from Hell. The devil is in the fine print.
I fully expect us to find out that next, you need a bridle to be able to steer the worm B-)

Also, I second that there should be a Hellworm club in the forums. As a matter of fact, there should be one in London proper! What better name could we ask for an establishment?
