August is the most circumlocutory month... so here's your chance to ask questions and, hopefully, receive brief and helpful answers!

I need to get Fitting in at Helicon House to 7 for a challenge those of you who have passed it already will probably recognise.

I don't think I've ever gone above 6 fitting in before but I've never really tried. I have one point from bringing my spouse and all my stats are decently high. Advanced ones are all at 7 (basic) except Toxicology and Shapeling Arts at 6 and Discordance way behind at 2.

Any suggestions of useful strategies would be welcome, or else I'll just cycle through the house repeatedly till I work it out. Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to find the options that give 2 or more fitting in. some are dependent on which companions you have or completing an ambition.

Some ideas

Probably the easiest as it is available from the start is In the Yellow Salon where you can get 2 for Study the Portrait of the Tentacled Entrepreneur.

If you have the mirrored salon and high glasswork you get 2 fitting in per action.

There are some options Below Stairs. Sous Chef or the Tentacles option

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

If you have neither a Haunted-looking Dog nor a Salt Weasel, you can find something in Spite that should make this much easier.
(Acquired through a rare card draw, so it may take a little while; if you have either the Dog or Weasel, you can get rid of them, and then go to Spite, should you want to.)

Sips of cider and Parabolan Kittens available to all (PM in game); occasionally interested in some other social interactions (ask first).
Has the opinion of "pass the cat" you'd expect from a person who pushed Connected: Duchess up to a leap year's worth of days.

Thank you both for the tips. I have a salt weasel and various types of hound - though not haunted I don't think - so I will take some runs through HH and see how I get on in the mirrored and yellow salons.

I'm thinking about buying a previous election item. Does any of them have an especially notable use next to their stats?

The Augmented Electrostatic Machine lets you spend Hedonist to produce Parabolan Orange-apples.

Harrumph! After kissing all those damn John-the-Baptist heads to get to 15, there's no way I'm spending Hedonist.

Just want to know if there is any fellow Correpondent who is willing to give a lecture in my orphanage. With one last successful lecture I will be notable enough to become a railway director. Please send me a calling card if you are interested.

In my Lodgings, I've found a certain Grizzled Veteran I can't recall seeing before. Is he a new addition?
At any rate, he informed me that a way to raise Watchful cap beyond 18 is coming soon, interestingly enough. Any other word about that which I may have missed?

If you have a rare weasel, it's criminal to even consider getting rid of it, thank you very much!
The action allowed by the Euphonium is also quite hard, so any option which consistently gives 2 Fitting in is probably as useful anyway...

Yep, grizzled veteran is new, added in latest update. He's supposed to direct people to where to raise various stat caps and where to find various end-game things, since it's so easy to get lost.

I got rid of my haunted-looking dog to get a euphonium, it took I think a few months but wasn't that bad at the end of the day. What's wrong with getting rid of a weasel? ...man, I know I've been playing too long when I can say "yeah, it just takes a few months of flipping cards, no big deal" and mean it smile

Social invitations of all kinds welcome! Deadly sparring, plant battles, etc.

Send me an in-game connection request if you need a discordant missive or a point of notability, or if there's some letters you want to trade.

I know how you feel smile

And, well, what can I say? I'm a proud weaseller through and through. Heck, I even bought another 400 hundred weasels just so that I wouldn't have to give my faithful, well trained standing mustellid army up for Fingerking possession.
As an avid revolutionary, my masterplan is to train vast armies of all the animals you can have and send them via Parabola to go after the enemies of the Cause. So obviously, my Salt Weasel is a capstone of that army. And after years upon years of leisurly grinding, my Heptagoat General is finally at hand. Bwahaha. Bwahahahaha!!!
Disclaimer: I am in no way to be held responsible if anyone's mirror suddenly bursts out in a shower of shards, weasels, bats and rabid goldfish.
