Yes: by taking them to butchery at Ealing Gardens.

Has this been explicitly confirmed, or are we simply inferring that from the fact that the butcher has been announced to be there?

I mean, it does make sense; I'm just curious if anything has been officially divulged beyond the original railway announcement in the first post of this thread.

Sorry, just a guess.

Can you vote out everyone besides you?

There is a requirement condition: voting out someone only becomes unavailable when there are at least five board members.

You are going to have to deal with at least four.

That said, I recommend voting out Sinning Jenny, if you selected her even though you don't have the Exceptional Story that gives you access to her school. Without some means of influencing her, it's just not worth having her on the Board.

P.S. I did select Sinning Jenny for two characters, just to have something to put in the wiki about her. Next meeting around, I am going to update the wiki on the process of having her off the Board.

Which Bishop?
By the way, have some Church favours before going into the meeting; there is an option that can drive down the Board against the Church quality, which applies to both Bishops (and the Dean of Xenotheology). That said, you can accumulate a "bank" of Church favours by making Hounds of Heaven and handing these to the Bishop of Southwark whenever you want the favours.
Wish I could bring one to the meeting to show it to the wrestling warrior-priest.

Forgive me if this is already somewhere in this thread, but.... After the tracklayers stop work because the block they're building through isn't there, you have to wait for the next board meeting to actually be able to move on to the next section of tracklaying, right? That seems to be the case, if I'm reading the wiki correctly (no guarantee).

That's correct. Progress at certain points (like the missing block) requires waiting for your next visit from Time the Healer to hold another board meeting. You should have some new options in the Lab to keep yourself occupied until then.

Thanks-- yep, I've been muddling about in there since. Unfortunately (and I blame the RNG for this) I got into the railway content about an hour after the last TtH so I've got a few days to go yet.

Thing for the Wiki Editors.

Since you can hire April as a member of your Board with BaL 2000, is the same true for the other Ambitions?

You mean the other outcomes of the Ambition? It should be.

You can only re-hire April if you have the Promissory Note From April. You get one automatically if the outcome is one that she likes (i.e. Veils is hella dead). For the other outcomes, you have to bribe her to get the note.

I have not tried removing her though - none of the other Editors have, as far as I know. I don't like the way the dismissal storylet is written. There's no guarantee that the player can have her back in the lab again if she is dismissed yet again.

That said, I expect that there may be a storylet in the Lodgings that let the player get another promissory note again - but likely with costs.

I meant for the other three ambitions, Light Fingers, Hearts Desire and Nemesis.

Not an Editor here, so whatever.

Combination of fluff and that storylet is rather clear - it's one-time service, once you dismiss her after that, she owes you nothing.
That's exactly what happens - she leaves, and there's no way to get her back again.
Confirmed with admins, when I misclicked and accidentally dismissed her - such a design was intentional on devs part. Reasons for that are beyond this post (and unknown to me), so I'll say nothing on that.

I finished Nemesis and there is no option to hire anyone from the Ambition. Arguably, there are few if any suitable candidates along the path. Revenge is a lonely path...

Specifically, Esurient Smith (the Nemesis-specific Lab Specialist) is particularly unsuitable for this sort of position, though I suppose perhaps you could try to draft Lilac.

On the other hand, I would be particularly interested in

[spoiler]
Managing to push my resurrected brother onto the Board, as I'm sure those with other returned relatives would also appreciate. This would really emphasise the whole "family" aspect of Nemesis, allow for establishing a perfectly legal family branch as well as potentially underhanded business practices within he Board and give Nemesis players who chose to return their relative a feeling of meaningful accomplishment.

Wow, until now I never realized what it was I was missing from Nemesis conclusion...

Seems you can neither hire Hepaesta (LF) nor Cora (HD)

What method are you all using to generate Bessemer ingots, and how much Bessemer per action are you getting? My non- skeleton method gives about ~2 Bessemer per action, and I feel like I could probably be doing better via some other consistent, repeatable method.

Whoa, thanks for the warning. I am going to update the page on the dismissal.

Technically, dismissal story is exactly the same, it's the hiring that's different - after finishing the ambition you need the note to hire her, and there's only one available ever.
So, I'd better update both pages.

>>>What method are you all using to generate Bessemer ingots

Headless skeleton + brass skull -> Hinterland scrips -> sabre-toothed skull + headless skeleton -> ingots

>>>and how much Bessemer per action are you getting?

No idea, its probably not optimal anyway.

I am also planning on building mammoth ribcage + 4 jurassic legs + sabre-toothed + some tail if/when i am out of skeletons

I am guessing that you are making Jurassic Femurs to sell to him. This is generally your only repeatable method.

Licentiates have a more repeatable method that can be done completely within the Bone Market alone, but it's still back to ~2 Bessemer Ingot per action.

Jurassic legs and a sabre-toothed skull on a mammoth ribcage are suboptimal for the purpose of getting the steel. You only need 1 Antiquity in order to qualify for sale, and otherwise it turns into Unprovenanced Artefacts; what you need for steel is the value of your skeleton in pennies. For that purpose the Mammoth Ribcage is very good, being the second expensive in the game, but the sabre-toothed skull is probably more trouble than it's worth (as it's easier to just buy a brass skull) and jurassic bones are just awful (as they only give 300 pennies of value, or 6 steel each).

For the limbs the best option currently is Ivory Humeri (which pay for themselves for more than twice their price in pennies) with somewhat worse option being turning the bones into holy bones rather than jurassic, or hunting albatrosses and disassembling them into wings. Doing both holy legs and albatross wings would allow for assembling an archaeopteryx rather than a chimera for an easier check.

Unfortunately the mammoth ribcage disallows declaring the skeleton an ape or a monkey, and ancient quadrupeds (like, say, a mammoth) are apparently not a thing in this reality, so creating a skeleton out of ivory humeri (or four legs for that matter) and brass skull on a mammoth ribcage is ripe for implausibility.
