So we have only four weeks from now to get the stuff we might want to trade with the Apicius Club? Sounds like I have to concentrate on grinding wine now.

Whitsun is coming: a new festival in Fallen London!
Eggs have abruptly appeared all over London β in bath tubs, balanced on chimneys, nestled in sofas, tucked in the holds of docked ships. And they're vast ones, the size of a beer barrel, an over-rounded dog, a prize-winning marrow.
Acquire an egg. Apply augmentations to it, if you like, then attempt to hatch it. Why not? The d___ed things are everywhere. What will happen when they hatch? Who knows!
We know many of you will want to prepare for the festival. There is nothing in particular that you need to do in advance. However, note that the Apicius Club, connoisseurs of novel flavours, will be reconvening for the festivities, and willing to take all manner of delicacies off your hands.
Whitsun will begin on 11th May 2020, and conclude on the 22nd.
Hmm. Delicacies like Incorruptible Biscuits?

I sure hope those eggs are edible. Or would that be...unwise?

I wonder how safe it is to assume that the lineup will be similar to previous times. I wouldn't put it past failbetter to have Apicius require a completely different menu.

Indeed. Though I fervently hope that they will at least still be giving the Crimson Book for Master's Blood, as that is the last top-tier item I am currently missing (And I have sat on a spare bottle of Master's Blood for several years now in the hope of this opportunity returning one day).

I have no great love for Virginia, but I don't want to eat her. She's too skinny to be very tasty, or worth eating. Now Mrs. Plenty, on the other hand....

My rule being βin any case, change all the labels,β I greet Whitsun unafraid. (Except for the part where the eggs are almost certain to be filled with spiders, which I never told you. Ever.)

Well, I finished my ambition just in time for this... still a ways to go until I get another vial of master's blood, though -- my first having gone towards lodgings in years past. Wonder if I'll actually need one for the club. Should have started making moves for that sooner.
In any case, looking forward to the festival!
