I tried to kick out a Freeloading Artist, but misclicked and kicked out April instead. Please, could we have an option to permanently kill this bastard?

Is it me, or is graduating Gifted Students a really good source of Society Favors?

Don't know whether it's that great in terms of EPA, but it's a grindable source of favors, much quicker than any other grindable favor source out there for sure.

Social invitations of all kinds welcome, especially games of chess and deadly sparring!
Also happy to help with nightmares, send sips of Cider, and plant battle.

And now I've done everything I wanted in the lab and camp and finished BaL. Next content update is 11 May, right? edited by Aro Saren on 4/30/2020

Hadn't really been keeping up with announcements about recent developments in the game much, and had not been back to the University in an age, so it was a nice surprise to stumble upon a new storylet concerning a laboratory.
I'm having tons of fun with it right now. Thanks, FB!

It will be possible to obtain a stall in the Bone Market on May 8. But the next big wodge of content is the Whitsun festival on May 11, as you said.
EDIT: I looked at the Bone Market this morning and now the stall storylets all say they are locked till the "end of May". edited by cathyr19355 on 5/5/2020

Boy, when it says researching the impossible theorem in the lab is a "very large" project , they mean the heck out of it, don't they... edited by Tintinnabulum on 5/2/2020

Does anyone have the echoes for offering the Fingerkings a Storm-Bird around? I remember there's 2 different successes, one regular and one rare.

I too find it aggravating there's an option to lure and kill Rubbery Men, but no option to lure and kill some of my more worthless research assistants and students. For heaven's sake, I have an infernal machine of industry and a Storm-Bird lying around. Accidents happen.

Why resort to accidents when you can use him as a guinea pig? At least this way he will be of some use.
Besides him only the Shifty Student is really bad, and he's a bootstrapper, so that's to be expected.

Well, at least you can speed up the research with Searing Enigmas and Uncanny Incanabula. It's more time-consuming but cheaper in resources and less dangerous to your health.

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve been on the forums and I’ve only just started my lab. How does one get 100 perfumed gunpowder and 3 hillmovers to do the next upgrade to my lab? I’m utterly lost as to where to go next for these materials. If it helps, my ambition is Light Fingers and my profession is a Notary.

Hillmovers from Warbler's Nest in Parabola. FOr perfumed gunpowder you have to unlock recipe first, unlock Bone Market via Palaeontological research for Dean, get some materials from Bone market and research projects.
TL;DR: just progress with you lab research and parabola hunts.

Thanks for that! Just realised that there were cards to draw in the lab! I play primarily on mobile and it was not apparent that there are opportunity cards available. Feeling really stupid about it now - getting lab research level up pronto!

Man, I can't believe how much new content there is lately! And not just new - fascinating, satisfying, lore-laden and full of elements I've been hoping to see come to something. This is just incredible!

I can’t wait for more content! I have all the new stats at their max except for red science and changing arts! All that’s left is to train students!

Good god, I've made like 14 Enigmas with the Truthbreaker Turbine. Not once have I gotten Devilbone Dice.

I am oh so tantalisingly close to reaching 100 Perfumed Gunpowder without having perpetuated a single forgery. I am excited and delighted.
