We live in uncertain times... and "uncertain" is an anagram of "nicer tuna"... a tuna is a fish... fish are caught in a net... the "net" is another name for the World Wide Web... "wide" is a Germanic word... Germany is a leading exporter of metals... you can make a needle out of metal... to "needle" is to provoke... Agent Provocateur sell underwear... underwear is sewn with thread... here's this week's quick questions thread!

I challenged myself to get from our uncertain situation to any of the words in "weekly questions thread" in as few logical connections as possible - and not to toot my own bugle but I think I did a rather excellent job of it!

Most of the qualities are useful, Red Science being the only one I know that currently does nothing, but activities in Parabola raise all of them up to 5. I didn't find it necessary to change professions, especially as a few other items have the qualities as well.
-- Optimatum, a ruthless and merciful gentleman. No plant battles, Affluent Photographer requests, or healing offers; all other social actions welcome.
