London has leap years. No one's exactly sure why. They tried to get rid of it at one point, but no matter how many times they printed new calendars, there was always an extra day. The Bishop of Southwark is reasonably sure this is an attempt by the devils to insert Feast Days for novel saints.

London also has still has time changes, but that's a Parabolan matter, not an Infernal one. An hour that never was is the perfect time for something that is-not to be.

I drifted off the game during February of last year, but came back February of this year.

I noticed that Ambition: Nemesis has significantly progressed content, and the Wiki's record of items related to this ambition strongly suggest that it has concluded.

Also, Arbor. I don't like the implementation of its entry as a card, but it sure is a handy way to double opportunity cards.

Virginia's the mayor now. Huh.

What other changes have there been besides the above and the monthly premium stories?

Hum. This goes from the top of my head, so it is likely to be incomplete:

1- Nemesis has already reached an ending. The other Ambitions will end in the following months.

2- There appears to be more content being in the works for the game itself, acordding to what Failbetter has teased us. That includes content post-ending-your-Ambition, including the option to switch to another one.

3- Hallowmass received a reworking,if I remember well.

4- The Feast of the Rose also received a re-tooling, including a new option to pay Masquing to a Viric Sales-man in Veilgarden to dream of your life with certain figures of London.

5- There is a new map of Fallen London being beta-tested. It appears to be in 3d, if I got that right.

6- And,hum, a change in a description of a certain ítem.

Sorry if I missed something. Hope it helps!

Thanks. I noticed that there is some new content for Hallowmas, namely a couple of new affiliations.

Oh,my question for the week! Here in London, what is exactly is the power correlation between the Empress, the Masters and our Lord Mayor? I mean, how do they split exactly wich one rules in what, how do they divide their areas of influences and governance? It always seems so confusing to me.

the mayor is essentially a ceremonial role, and the empress technically rules the neath but only has real control over the palace, the masters pretty much control everything else.

Now I know I'm being irrational, and it's just the RNG hating me, but I haven't seen a Great Game card in about a month, just when I want some favours. Will someone please reassure me that the cards aren't bugged?

They're not. The RNG is just on the outs with you.

Having said that, since they worked on the frequency, some cards have become noticeably rarer, and others now crop up more. That particular one is not affected for me, however.

Did they officially confirm this? I had wondered if some of my recent observations had merit, but it’s difficult to tell if it’s simply a lucky run or not.

My memory is that someone came on here and told us, but it's quite some time ago now. Well before the Nemesis updates. Maybe someone else can confirm.
