I have a plan to reach shadowy 200 and I wanted to know if it's a good idea or if there are better things I can do. What I am currently doing is diminishing my shadowy with a Talkative Rattus Faber, a Bundle of Glad Rags and a Bejewelled Cane, then I do Business in Wilmot's End to reach Dramatic Tension 2, get a Whirring Contraption and use it to publish a journal. My natural shadowy is 164 and I can diminish it to 137. So what does everyone think?

While it is depends on your playstyle and preferences, most likely you will eventually want all stats 200. It isn't that much of a grind, in comparison with others at least. About "how" - well, I would consider Dramatic Tension into Collections of Curiousities and selling those to Tomb Colonies if you want to do Dramatic Tension at all. Or - as I did - "A Boxful of Intrique" carousel, if you are far enough in "Affair of the Box". This one will give 70-80 percents on 164 shadowy and average 1.64 echo per action eventually. Heists and Theft of Particular Characters are good too - as a way to get too 4-card lodgings, get resources for renown grinds and so on.

If you ever wish to become a Paramount Presence, you will need to boost all your stats to 200, and then overboost them to 215 (before modifying equipment). The overboosting requires Notability; there is a card that will make the base stat of your choice 200 + whatever your Notability is at that point. 15 is currently the highest your Notability can get.

We can also check if the Shadow and Dangerous bonus applies to both duel participants if one uses dream qualities.
Feel free to send an invitation for a non-lethal duel to Skinnyman. Or even a lethal one; I don't mind dying a little!

The best method is doing Heists. If you have a Gang of Hoodlums you use them once (5 actions. Then you steal a painting for the Topsy King, from a gallery (1 action). That gives you 6 casing in total.
Then you buy one piece of Inside Information, and enter the Heist. When you finish the Heist, the boost is significant.

If you don’t use your free evenings (usually for Notability), try and find a Paramount Prescence to train you (It’ll also raise your Dangerous at the same time).

Patronage helps only for stats lower than 100. And locked with PoSI. Or am i wrong?
