an old irish spy from the colonies, somewhat irrigo impaired but still sharp as a tack. friendly enough just don't mention parabola he gets awfully melancholic. (an honorary cat my life is complete)

I wanted to see what Exceptional Friendship played like so I got a subscription and cancelled it. The new exceptional story came out, but I do not have access to it - do I need to resubscribe to get access to this story even though I have some days of exceptional friendship left?

You should be able to play the current ES as long as you have Exceptional Friendship, regardless of your subscription. If you aren't able to play it, you should contact support.

Thank you for the heads up! I'll see if I can play it ( maybe I've just not gotten the opportunity card for it yet ) and if I can't I'll contact support ^^

ES stories don't usually start with a card. The storylet will be everywhere. Either play the snippet under The Committee (which everyone can play) or not, but in any case move on to the season storylet: The Season of Propinquity. The ES is triggered there.

As I've recently reached person of some importance status, I just want to learn some things about Seeking Mr. Eaten's name. I don't want to seek it, but are there any things I should avoid to keep from accidentally starting down that path?

Also Alpha, do you still not have time the healer? I got it 2 days ago, so if it still hasn't arrived it's likely a small hiccup, and may or may not fix itself, but, as I am not very well versed in such matters, my thoughts may not be the most helpful

Actually starting Seeking requires some quite definite actions. Also it is quite easy to stop going this way - well, until some very long way down.
As far as I remember, one start Seeking if one
- gets one of the Seeking Curios in Forgotten Quarter stories. Something about voice in your dream
- getting betrayed. Seekers have to commit some betrayals during their way, so if you have invitation to speak about the Name from someone, you may want to decline it.
- Unaccountably Peckish. Black cards you get for having this state have one option, that will put you deeper in Seeking. It is marked with special requirement - rising hand known as "Marsh-Mired in Dreams of Sustenance"
- One of the dreams of water series. You will recognize it, because it requires you not to be Seeker
- I think there are some seasonal stuff - something with Mr.Sacks - but I am not sure.
Anyway, dropping this way is totally possible - actually, London itself would beg you to. I myself was betrayed and get out quite fast. Although I can see how one would want never even touch this.
