By the way, I forgot to mention how I liked the new home conforts + cards mechanics. I hope to see more examples of this in the future.

Do we need to equip 'A Seat At The Bishop's Table' in order for the new card (Attend a dinner at St Fiacre's) to show up in the deck? Or does simply owning the un-equipped item work for these new post-Hallowmas cards?

The card doesn't unlock with having "A Seat At The Bishop's Table", but by having "Noticed by the Saturnine Duke", which is one of the effects when equipping it.
The same goes for the other two Affiliations.

Thanks, dov! Equipment based cards is an excellent way to allow players to customise their own decks. Now if only all those annoying cards could be de-equipped... :P

Well it ain't perfect. If a lot of equipment had properties that added cards to your deck, people would have to get naked for drawing and reequip stuff for playing, which could get obnoxious.

As my last recap for the season, I wish to once again express utmost satisfaction with all aspects of this year's Hallowmas, not least being the nifty new affiliations. When you've been flipping endgame cards for several years, every new card face is an exciting change from the routine! edited by Aardvark on 11/18/2019

Indeed. I recently started an alt to do "Bag a Legend", and I'd completely forgotten how rich and varied the early deck is.

Each of the three Masques has a card. I think you get the card associated with the host of the Masque you attended the most (at least I did). In my case, that was the Queen of Air and Darkness.

Most endgame players are actively trying to get cards out of their decks, so as to see the most desirable ones more regularly. However, the more we succeed at that, the more monotonous (and less interesting) card flipping becomes.

This is probably not the right place for this discussion, but each level of making your name (4 varieties) opens up a bunch of new cards, some in groups with their own little stories. And each area has stories linked to the quality levels. I've been trying not to progress too quickly so as not to miss any of the long-forgotten (or possibly never seen) tales and details. A lot of hints that would make no sense the first time around now fit perfectly and reveal greater and more sinister depths.

So... I acquired the Bishop of St Fiacre home comfort. I equipped it. I should be getting the card at some point, no? Is it old art I might be discarding or something? It has been weeks.

You should draw the card at some point. I've draw it two or three times since the end of Hallowmas.

It doesn't seem to come up that often, but I've had it probably twice over a week.

Do we have any estimation for when the Hallowmas branch in One's Public will get updated (or if it would be updated at all)? It's been a week since The Fool's Justice storylet closed...

My hope that something will happen on that front has dwindled. I guess if nothing happens next week, then they'll just keep it as is.
