Hello,
I recently got into the 'Tattoos and Extortion' storylet, and I got to the point where I get to be a bruiser for a day. However, the bruiser choice is an impossible challenge for me; my Dangerous stat is simply low. I can't call in a favour from the Embassy either because I don't have an infernal informant. Is there any other way for me to go around this storylet or do I really need to increase my Dangerous attribute to progress?

Looks like those are your only options, unfortunately. Don't worry too much, though—you'll need higher Dangerous eventually anyway to become a Person of Some Importance, and can simply put this story on hold until then.

Good day to everyone reading this;
I have recently finished the Exceptional Story with the party and the garden and had obtained an item through it that I could sell to other parties, but I didn't since I had intended to keep it to myself and as such I hadn't sold it. None the less this item has disappeared, which strikes me as odd as I didn't sell it in any form. Does it disappear when you round up the Exceptional Story? Thank you very much!

The following situation:
I had aimed to go for Renown Criminals 50 and Constables 50 for London's Marrow.
However, for Constables 50, I find that even with a mood card, the level is unobtainable even with my best equipment. The only option I see at the moment is to change destiny. That would, however, only boost Dangerous by maybe 5 points, enough for one more level of Renown (48).
I know there are people in the community that have managed this and would be grateful for any tips.

As you can see on the Wiki page there the Lance is the biggest boost which doesn't have a replacement for players that weren't around few years ago or missed it 2 years ago. With a +10 companion (Fate or Hallowmas) and a spouse (player or Fate), this election's item was a missing key for some thanks for the +4 dangerous boost.
Besides this, the option would be to overcap Dangerous.

I'm curios, how much Dangerous you need for level 48? Each next level is +6 more, right?

Just for the record, there is one problem with having Turncoat after all. You cannot play the 7 favors option in the Implausible Penance, until you get rid of the quality.

Mostly just out of curiosity... is there a reason one's Time The Healer might move back by a few hours? Something server or code related, maybe-- or is it just a thing that happens?
My main and one alt's shifted back by about 8 hours a month or so ago (and then again last week), and my other alt's just did the same this week.

Unfortunately, it is too late for you to do what I did, which was to do the Shepherd of Souls card repeatedly. By the time FBG converted the Constables to the Renown/Favours system, my Connected qualities were so high that I reached 50 automatically. I did have to raise my Criminals, but mood cards were sufficient for that.

Thank you, and to everyone else who responded. That makes sense. I remember everyone striving to increase their connections at the time, but I had not been playing for long enough, and there was too much interesting stuff to do otherwise.

I know that if you have certain romantic affairs in the Empress's Court before you're banished, you can push Hedonist over 10. Does anyone know if this is still the case once you've been restored?

Confirmed true. That interminable grind is one of the things that pushed me from 10 to 12, and that was well after having been banished and returning. Remember, you have to divest yourself of the Memento in order to repeat your transgressions.
Also that grind takes a while. If you're still not up to 12 by February, the Feast of the Exceptional Rose gives another option.

The Feast of the Rose option of course depends a lot on luck, so if that's not your thing, try the Court grind.
