The Fruits of the Zee Festival is here, and we're all collecting strange catches! Y'know, people say I'm a pretty strange catch myself, if you know what I mean.

...anyway, here's this week's quick questions thread.

So, what all is in my "Deck", then?
Everytime you draw a card, it is randomly chosen from all the cards your character can possibly draw in your current location at the current time. If you want a more technical explanation, someone else will need to jump in :')

Since we're here, does anyone remember the name of the thread where someone actually proved the deck-RNG wasn't working as intended?

A few things about your deck:
A) Your deck includes all the available cards for a character of your stats, plus the cards relevant to your current storylines (Making your name, living stories, etc). As you progress, some cards are left behind, and other, more profitable ones, are added to your deck.

B) There is no need to hold on to the Gift card for half a year - it's not a rare card. If you discard it, you will soon draw it again.

C) some cards are available to everyone, some depend on your progress along a story. There are some location-specific cards, too: almost every location save the Forgotten Quarter and the Labyrinth has one or two of those.

D) Faction and pet cards are available everywhere.

E) The six (or ten) cards in your deck are not pre-selected. Every time you click on the deck, the cards are randomly selected. You may see the same card appear three times in a row.

Thanks, that's the one I meant! smile

I'm not sure whether they fixed it yet? I still draw some cards far more often than I should, and I still draw the same card twice in a row very frequently, too (both after playing or discarding it first). But maybe that's just my weird luck Big Grin
