Here you can speculate on the game’s plot, discuss its characters, and compare notes with other players.

I am avoiding one certain event like a plague. Messages in this topic - RSS

"Playing with Broken Toys."
Simple, I hate creepy dolls, even The Gift Storyline was torture for me and I had to arrange my choices to get out of that storyline as fast and unharmed as possible.

I am unafraid of spoilers and I have found there are little or no merit for me for completing that storyline.

Does anyone here have similar inclinations towards certain events?

I absolutely abhor the 'Hit it with a stick' option in 'Tame your ... Thing' for animal breeding. Which is a little curious because I happily deal out all kinds of other violence in the game. I think this one hits a particular nerve because your Thing is a Companion (or pet), and I can't stomach the idea of hitting a pet with a stick to get it to behave.

The ending to the Last Constable's/Cheery Man's storyline.

Played it once on an alt and decided "nope, never again". Perfectly happy to leave that story hanging for all my other characters.

It's a very good thing there is a kindness option included in this card.

Yes, I would love Adrift on a Sea of Misery to add up to something, though from a game design perspective, the fact that nothing changes underscores the devastating quantity of poverty in Fallen London.

Plus if this group effort adds up to something then so will the Liberation of Night, so I am good.

And I hate to hijack the thread for election purposes so I am not responding to the spa comment, Sir Oathes! Why, Travis will kick us out of their Salon!
