(double-edit: For any reading this later, I now realise that what I'd written below was a flawed understanding of the original post. Yeah, I done goofed. ^_^ )
It looks like you're asking people to send you Fate points, by spending their real-world money on you.
Don't be a beggar.
Edit: Incidentally, the "A Box of Ten Delights" action is no longer in the game afaik.

Nope. Being non-native - as am I - they are just asking FBG to return A box of Ten Delights as an option. Pretty sure that's that.

They disabled it to prevent people from making tons of alt and pooling fate onto a single character. 10 fate is easy to acquire from 1 time sources.

That explains the aggressive response, which surprised me on what is normally a good-humoured forum. Along with many others, I fancy, the request seemed entirely innocent to me. I was completely unaware of Kaiyuu's point (and am not even sure it is true nowadays, or at least not without a great deal of effort).

Easy? From Alice, from Rat, from Idol, from opera and from Nemesis. Ten fate need play all fate-sourses.

It sounds like you already knew the method mentioned in Kaijyuu's comment; and the fact that it's doable at all is a bad idea.
If "A Box of Ten Delights" were reinstated it'd be possible to do each of the steps on an alt, give 10 fate to your main character. Repeat that on another alt, give 10 fate to your main character... etc.
People buying (and spending) Fate, and being Exceptional Friends, is what keeps the game going - and keeps Failbetter Games afloat.
Seems fair to me that they should be able to close off what is essentially able to be used as an exploit, especially where doing so keeps the lights on. :-)

But it would take months. Yes, there are dribbles of free fate in the game, some at the beginning to introduce the concept, one imagines.
But some of the branches need to be played for weeks if not months before a couple of points emerge at the other end (anyone for opera? Or cheesemongering?). Who on earth would have the time to do that not once, but multiple times (3 at least to acquire enough fate to play one of the very early, short extra stories.)? It would require astonishing stinginess as well as great dedication.
It doesn't seem a reasonable undertaking at all. And presumably the wiki gives information on free fate points, so the knowledge may well come from there rather than being some dastardly plan.
(To clarify: I am an EF and have been from the start; I also purchase extra fate and have on occasion given fate to one other person.)

It's definitely a slow strategy, and most people wouldn't bother, but the possibility was still a meaningful problem. Not only is using alts like that against ToS, but the 10 Fate gift was removed when a couple people backed Sunless Sea entirely through free fate. Just because most people act in good faith doesn't mean everyone will.

I think, only I have time and haven't money. All my fate from stories will be used to make heptagoat. But I want ratwork velocipede.

It's an unfortunate truth that the game needs to make money, so some things are behind a paywall. Personally I've resigned myself to considering fate things beyond my reach, though maybe soon I'll have some luxury money to pass FBG's way since they've helped me with many a bored afternoon.
